Your day starts with early morning pickup by your guide at your hotel in Bangkok.
Relax in the air-conditioned vehicle as your driver takes you to Ayutthaya, which is located about a 1.5-hour drive north. Ayutthaya was the capital of Siam (Thailand) for more than 400 years, and it contains a number of UNESCO World Heritage-listed temples.
Visit Bang Pa-In Royal Palace, also known as the Summer Palace of King Rama V. The grounds feature royal buildings in a range of architectural styles, including Thai, Chinese, Italian and Victorian. The Aisawan Tippaya Asna pavilion sits above a small lake and is considered a fine example of Thai architecture.
Return to Bangkok via the Chao Praya River, boarding a boat for a scenic cruise that includes a buffet lunch. See temples along the riverbank and scenes from daily life as you float back to Bangkok.
Upon your arrival in the late afternoon, your driver transfers you to your Bangkok hotel to end your tour.
