So happy with this tour. Walked off the ship and Dao was waiting with a sign - always happy when things start on key. We were the only two people in this comfortable van which meant we moved at our own pace and seemed to be able to enjoy everything in a relaxed way despite the crowds. Dao is a great guide and we felt we got an understanding of both Thai history and culture, along with her personal experiences of family life. The river boat ride was a blast and the temples and Grand Palace are experiences not to be missed. A great day
Our trip was excellent. Our tour guide Dahl and driver Ace were at the ship to pick us up when we docked. The trip into town was 2 1/2 hours, better than the 3 1/2 we had been quoted for the ship tours. Dahl was excellent at keeping the tour to our pace, finding elevators rather than many flights of stairs etc. Be prepared for large crowds We covered everything on the itinerary without rushing and Dahl's knowledge was great. The long tail boats were a highlight. I would highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide was wonderful. She adapted the tour to suit us and let me add an extra sight that was not included in the original itinerary. She was always cognizant of our needs, bought us water, carried my shoes in some of the temples and was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She made sure we saw everything that was included, kept a comfortable pace, made a stop for snacks at our request and was always accommodating. I would highly recommend her and the tour.
Sasakhorn Nan our dedicated guide for a private tour of Bangkok was amazing, knowledgeable, energetic and to the point. She briefed us on the history during the long drive from Leam Chabang to Bangkok. She guided us expertly through all the planned activities, visited the grand Palace, the Pagodas, the Golden Buddha, the Reclining Buddha, the Emerald Buddha, all impressive. She got us on the Long Boat tour which was an amazing tour of all types of houses on piles. Sasa took us to an extensive tour of Chinatown and to a quaint and delicious little Vietnamese restaurant. A most enjoyable and instructive visit. Highly recommended.
It was a private tour, because we have a a/c van for two of us. Our local guide Aurora was excellent. Very knowledgeable of history, local customs , everyday life etc. She is friendly, knows all the tricks how to avoid crowds, what to see and from what point is better. She replaced bottles of water when the water became warm. This was our second excursion with VIATOR, and both were excellent.
Fantastic trip. Our guide Tony customized our tour so that we could see everything we wanted to in Bangkok Gold Buddha, Grand Palace, Reclining Buddha, Emerald Buddha, Jim Thompson House, river boat tour and more. Tony was very knowledgeable about everything he showed us and his enthusiasm and love of his native country really showed. Also our driver was very skillful and prompt. We never had to wait on him after we were done visiting a specific attraction. Our cruise ship was a day late getting into port because of rough seas and Viator was able to reschedule our trip on very short notice which we really appreciated. Thanks!
Excellent excursion. Our tour guide, Pipith was great. His enthusiasm, friendliness, sincerity and local knowledge were infectious. We could not have crammed more into the day with the taxi driver quickly available to pick us up and take us to the next site whenever needed. We visited many local sites we could never have seen on our own, all at a cost much less than that offered by the cruise company and in much smaller groups. Pipith arranged for us to have lunch with the local people giving us an insight into local life.
Many thanks for a great day.
Our Guide Nui was excellent. He was very professional, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour.. the way he explained everything made history come alive. In a short time he helped us see all the important historical sights . ... the magnificent temples and palaces and a great boat ride. The clean air conditioned van made our trip very comfortable. I would highly recommend this tour and especially our guide Nui and his driver.
The day was first rate. The sights are amazing and the boat ride was first rate. What really made the day was the services of our guide, Pipith. Hie was knowledgable, very fluent ink English, able to get us into some of the crowded sites quickly. A really great day.
This was a great tour. Our guide Sweetie was professional and pleasant. She kept us moving along, not getting lost in the crowds, answering questions and imparting knowledge about her city. Many interesting stops. A great overview of Bangkok. Especially enjoyed the long boat trip in the canals.
Really enjoyed our private tour. Our guide was at the port holding our name sign when we got out, driver was waiting for us. Guide was knowledgeable. We saw everything as per the itinerary. Grand Palace is beautiful. Glad we took this private tour as it was very crowded at the palace, it was much easier to follow the guide with just the 2 of us small group. Love the canals boat ride. We saw what the lives in Bangkok is like. Guide took us to try local Thai food after asking if we want A/C restaurant or local food with no A/C. It was a nice experience. Highly recommend this tour.
This was an excellent one day tour of Bangkok. The guide was experienced and receptive to small changes of the day's schedule to suit our group of four. The driver was very good at weaving through heavy city traffic. We particularly enjoyed the river tour as it gave a great insight into how locals live.
Guide was wonderful and knowledgeable. Readily adapted when we wanted to skip some options.

Our Bangkok tour was excellent. Just as the Viator website said - we saw 3 Buddas Jade, Reclining and Gold. We also had a wonderful rickshaw ride through Bangkok. Excellent Lunch as well.....
Our guide was on time and easy to find. He was flexible knowable. His English was a little hard to understand. We would use him again.
This is a wonderful tour for those with only a single day in Bangkok. Yes, it's a long drive but if you get as good a guide as we had then it'll be more than worth it . You see all the main sites and have a decent amoutnt of time on the water to experience Bangkok from an alternative angle.
If there was one thing we'd change it would be one less Buddhist temple and maybe a visit to a market or something similar, although this isn't a serious criticism.
Bangkok City Tour was very good and our guide was okay with us changing and adding things we preferred to see. She was very efficient getting us around in a timely manner and trying to explain what was happening and what we were seeing she was obviously very knowledgeable. Her accent was at times hard to understand, I would next time ask for someone more proficient in English. We had a very delicious Thai lunch. Because of all the traffic we were nervous about reaching our ship on time but they did it with time to spare.
There is still so much to see in Bangkok it requires a return visit.
This tour took us to a member of significant temples and the royal palace. The afternoon included a long but very interesting ride on the river.
The excursion was excellent, we loved all the places we went even when it was rainning and we visit the highlights in short time because we only have one day. But our guide wasnt so kind, he was running in front of us and he wasnt so kind, he never offer to take us pictures and when we ask he pouted. Also I asked to stop 5 minutes in a shop and he told me we where stopping in a better place thing that never happened. At the end of the tour we werent very happy because of the guide attitude but the places were amazing.
