I thought the tour guide Diamond was awesome....he was very informative and engaging.
The only part I didnt like were the crowds at the temples...however with it being such a tourist attraction, I understood and dealt with it..
I would do this trip again if I could have Diamond as a tour guide.

On the day that we had scheduled for this tour our hotel made a mistake and we ended up missing our pickup. These guys bent over backwards to get us on a tour the next day no extra charge and even bumped us up to a private tour with an amazing tour guide name Sonya. She was amazingly friendly and knew her stuff. Some of the best customer service I've ever dealt with.

Very good tour! Our tour guide was able to get us in and out of the crowds quickly and explained all of the history at the same time. I was part of a small group there was 3 of us, and he was so knowledgeable. We saw a monk, who was throwing coins to the people praying and the tourists. It was great!!

If you have a limited amount of time in Bangkok, I highly recommend this tour. It provides an overview of the Royal Grand Palace and key Bangkok Temples. The guide was fabulous!

This was a morning tour and the crowds were not as great at the Temples as in the previous afternoon. Able to get a good photo of the reclining Buddha.
The visit to the gem factory at the end of the tour was interesting as one could observe the workers polishing stones and creating settings as well as the adjoining store where one could shop.

Amazing experience. The guide was very friendly and helpful. She also added a tuk tuk ride in the tour, that took us from the Grand Palace to the reclining Buddha because it was really hot that day. The guide was really knowledgeable and it was a small 5 people group.

Great way to spend a half-day taking in the sights, hearing some history, and doing some exploring on my own. The tour guide spoke English, he was informed, and was always ready to answer questions. Just a word of caution . . . we experienced the Bangkok traffic and sat in traffic for 3 hours on a Saturday afternoon, so I'm glad I didn't book an afternoon tour that I had to cancel/miss.

This tour was amazing! The tour leader was really sweet and kind but also knowledgeable! This tour provided a great learning experience and I would highly recommend! The only issue, at the end of the tour, we were taken to a jewellery gallery. This was not described in the tour information and also took away from the magic of the temples and experience. There was a pressure to buy from the shop assistants that was not appreciated. Overall, the tour was good and interesting!

My tour driver was an hour late to pick me up but overall I enjoyed the tour a lot. The architecture was so beautiful and intricate. I wish the tour guide gave us more information about it. It was also super hot!! Definitely be prepared for that. Bring an umbrella or something. And the Grand Palace was PACKED with tourists. Also be aware that in the Grand Palace, they wont let you in if your shoulders and knees aren't covered. A scarf covering your shoulders does not work. Men must not wear jeans and even babies aren't exempt from these rules. The tour guide was nice enough to buy me a shirt to cover my dress when the security stopped me. I would recommend this tour but I wish it went in reverse order to avoid the other tour crowds.

The Grand Palace and Wat Pho are must-visits when in Bangkok. The Golden Buddha temple is a nice to have, but not essential. Our guide was quite the character, but his English wat not 100, and he provided only limited background info. However, this evaluation is probably due to the fact that the 2 previous guides we had during other tours were really top quality, so comparing might be unfair.

Fascinating site, but probably too crowded by visitors to take it all in - especially architecture. Recommend review history of site before taking tour, so you can understand lay out and importance. Crowds make it hard for tour guide to address much in the way of site history/significance. Though Guide was most knowledgeable.

This tour is a 4 hour morning pick up. We were told the pick up would be 8:00-8:30, they didn't arrive until almost 9:00. We were a group of 4 with an English speaking guide. We got very little info at each temple because she was speaking as we were walking. If you weren't right beside her you missed a lot of what she was explaining. There was so much to take in at the Grand Palace but we were too busy keeping a eye on where our guide was because of the crowds. The temples were beautiful as was the Grand Palace but the crowds were so great that you missed the beauty. Better to go at night when it is illuminated and less crowded, no entrance fee.

A great tour to experience a must do!!! Take a lot of pictures and learn the history!!! But a big warning tons and tons of tourists, so expect long lines, rude tourists, and a lot of pushing!!!

A very ordinary tour, and one that did not even take us to the guaranteed sights. Guide was average, not very interested, and the sight we particularly wanted to see, the Emerald Buddha, was not even included despite being marked on the web site as a highlight of the tour. Not recommended.

CAUTION - Pick up time 08:00 5 stars - Tour 5 stars BUT then they take you to a jewellery store with no option watch a boring video and pressure you to purchase.
This added another 3 hours to the tour with no lunch before arriving back at you motel 15:00 - 2 stars

I booked a number of tours and activities in Bangkok and Phuket and this one was the most expensive and least impressive. I booked the tour in advance and while I saw many tours weren't running on this particular day, Vesak, this company was. I saw that the Grand Palace closed at noon but since it was a half day tour, I figured we would be fine. Two days before I left for Thailand 4 days before th tour, they told me the Grand Palace was closed not what the Grand Palace site said! and that they would need to reschedule. With my limited time in Bangkok and before my departure, I went forward with that. Off to a bad start already.

Once booked, they confirmed my hotel pick up time via email. When I checked in to my hotel, I received an updated confirmation. The night before I left, they called my room and changed the time again. In the morning, they showed up late. Another example of poor planning.

The Grand Palace and the temples were all beautiful and must sees but book the lesser priced tours or go on your own. The Grand Palace was packed which made it especially hot and humid. As a result, the guide took us to a few points and let us wander for pictures. We did NOT explore the entire property. The other temples were not crowded so he talked to us much more about the background and history but not much overall. He also kept rushing us which was annoying. While all tours end with a stop at the gem store, my return transportation took well over an HOUR to get back to my hotel the tour was less than 4 hours! and I was the 2nd stop. On the way the driver did not know how to get back to one group's hotel and tried to just drop them off on the street. I looked up their hotel on my phone and gave the driver the directions. Turns out we had driven in one big circle. I thought the tour would be more than transportation and admission fees but it was little more than that. Definitely not worth the 70 price tag. If it had been 40 or less, I might have been okay with the price.
