There is a lot of driving time to get to the temples however the guide provides a lot of details regarding the history of the country so it remains entertaining. You get ample time at each temple to take pictures- dress accordingly so females and males must have knees and shoulders covered. The river cruise was very slow but plenty of food to eat. The best views are on top of the boat however you cannot hear anything unless inside so you dont really know what youre looking at.
Tour was great. Although we really hated the driver that fetched us from the hotel to the bus terminal. Expect a lot of companions with you because this is a group tour pooled by different agencies. Yes its crowded.
Paul was a fantastically well organized and entertaining guide who showed us the highlights that we expected. The summer palace was lovely and so wonderful to photograph, As expected, the lunch was a buffet and rather so-so except the sushi, but the river cruise was a good introduction to Bangkok.
Amazing views, a lot to see, and so much to learn! If you do this tour try to ask for Paul because he knows a lot, passionate about what he does, and cracks jokes to keep you laughing and smiling. Make sure to bring a good amount of baht with you on this tour.
In 14 tours of 8 countries within 45 days the guide was probably the best one! And all of Viators services guides were good! Great experience, very complete, very interesting. Don't miss this one.
Everything was great. Guide was very good. Cruise was nice with a big variety of food
Superbly organised. Guide Paul spoke perfect English and was very informative and looked after tourists very well. Lunch on cruise boat was just fantastic. They obviously got a very good chef! As I am a vegetarian - they gave me special dishes in addition to buffet which were super tasty.
My favorite tour of our trip. Breathtaking temples, ruins, history, etc. The boat cruise buffet back is great as well!
The trip was very good. River Cruise excellent, buffet was very well prepared and plenty to go around. Our guide Donna was very enthusiastic and seemed to be the only one to laugh at her own jokes :-.
Our Ayutthaya tour with Donna, as our guide, went well. Pick up from our hotel was on time. The ride Ayutthaya was comfortable. We were given ample time in each stop. We didn't feel rushed. A lot of historical and practical information were provided by Donna. We took the river cruise going back to Bangkok. The boat ride was pleasant, the food excellent! All in all, It was a positive experience for me and my family!
Excellent! We were very happy this tour. Ayutthaya was beautiful and the food in the River cruise was delicious.
Tour guide is very knowledgeable and fun to hang out with. Buffet on cruise boat was the highlight to end the trip.
Andy our Tour Guide is very accommodating, friendly and excellent service
The tour is cheap and superb. The buffet lunch is very generous different kinds of food
Customer very satisfied
The trip was fantastic! I would highly recommend this tour to my friends/family.
Awesome trip that you should not miss.
Awesome Tour guide
Value for money
Don't miss this one day trip
This tour was really comprehensive and several aspects exceeded my expectations. The boat cruise was actually rather luxe with a large buffet lunch served, as opposed to a ferry that I was expecting. The gardens and setting at the Bang Pa-In Temples were absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend, especially for the price.
Perfect! The guide was informative and helpful. We love the cruise. Though it was raining when we were in Summer Palace, the trip was enjoyable.
Wow, just stunned at the whole entire experience, the summer Palace was elegant and a great place to take pictures. The ride there was also comfy and our tour guide sorry forgot his name, middle aged gentleman with white hair was incredibly informative of the history of these wonders of the world. Ayutthaya was without a doubt the best part I took the time to meditate for 10 minutes the place was a swan song to the great Buddha and his teaching, swan song because the place was looted and destroyed by the Burmese Army! the ending was a glorious ride on the Chao Praya river back to Bangkok on a luxury watch, the food was amazing!!! and diverse with many different choices, a foodies delight. Felt like Anthony Bourdain while eating all the stuff they had. I was really surprised at the quality of everything involved yes, including the bus I will definitely encourage fellow travelers to take this tour it was the highlight of my trip to Thailand.
my wife and accompanying children thoroughly enjoyed their tour especially the river cruise and excellent buffet lunch.
Lovely day! Everything went well. It was my only group tour of the whole two week trip. While I don't like group tours, this worked well. We were first on the bus from van pick-up, so we got to sit up front. The guide is well-educated and told us a lot about where we were going.
I enjoyed seeing the ancient ruins and we had plenty of time to wander and take photos. After a long day in the sun the boat cruise was a great way to relax. The food was better then expected and it was nice to just sit by the way our buffet was quickly out of desserts but there was a second table upstairs which I found later that still had desserts - so wander!.
Well worth it.
