What You Can Expect

Barbados Shore Excursion: Natural Wonders and Harrison's Cave Tour

Tropical Flower

Meet your guide and small group of up to 12 people on arrival at Barbados cruise ship port, then soak up the scenery as you climb into the central highlands.

The first stop of the day is Harrison's Cave, a magnificent underground cavern formed out of crystallized limestone. Ride the purpose-built tramway through the caves, passing cascading waterfalls, emerald-green lagoons, and a dramatic array of stalagmites and stalactites.

Back above ground, choose to visit one of the island’s most impressive botanical gardens – either stroll through lush rain forest at the Hunte's Gardens, or explore the Flower Forest, filled with tropical plants and flowers. You can’t tour Barbados without visiting the beach, so the next stop will be Bathsheba beach, a tranquil sandy beach fringed with palm trees and renowned for its surf.

After re-fuelling with a tasty Caribbean-style lunch (included) at a local restaurant, continue to the final stop of the day – the Barbados Wildlife Reserve. Spend time admiring the exotic wildlife, including parrots, flamingos, iguanas, and turtles, and don’t miss the adorable Green Monkeys.

Your tour ends with drop-off at the port in time for your cruise departure.

We loved this tour....especially seeing Harrison's Cave. We have toured many caves but never by tram before. The botanic garden was lovely. The monkey sanctuary was entertaining and we saw other animals as well. The lunch at the seaside restaurant was delicious!
We highly recommend this tour!

Harrison Cave alone was worth the price. Coupling that tour with the forest garden, Basheba Beach, lunch on the beach, and visit to the animal rescue center made for an exhilarating day. Our tour guide was personable and friendly, as are all people of Barbados. The small group also made the trip more enjoyable.

We had a great view of the island, thanks Glory Tours and our guide Calvin. Stops at Harrison Cave about 1.5 hrs., Bathsheba 1hrs, Morgan Lewis Windmill few minutes, Natural Wonders Reserve 1hr, and Wildlife Reserve 1hr. He took the time to talk and point out areas of interest. We enjoyed time at each stop without feeling rushed at all. And enjoyed a fabulous lunch provided. Everything was perfect and enjoyable, Worth every minute. If you like a lot scenery, a little history, and great interactive fun try Glory Tours. Don't forget to try the punch.

We loved the excursion
There were only four of us and everything was precise. Our guide was excellent. Lunch was also plentiful and good. I would have liked more choices on different islands and the Amazon that we could have used. We used your service. In Europe and were more than pleased also

Loved Lisa our guide. We didn't have to wait for everyone from the ship. Walked out of the port met Lisa and we where off. Only 4 of us so very one on one not half the ship. Nice lunch. Very good

Really enjoyed our tour here. Our first stop was at Harrison's Cave, This was amazing. The guides made sure that no matter where you were seated you got to see and take pictures of everything. Our second stop was at the Flower Forest. This was a self-guided tour. Our guide gave us a card with the pictures of the flowers and we toured the area at our own pace. Since we are from Florida, we knew many of the plants and trees we saw but still very much enjoyed this stop. Our final stop was at the Wildlife Reserve. We arrived just in time to see the monkeys, red deer, and turtles during feeding time. I would recommend this tour.

Our guide was outstanding which helped to make a great excursion even better. We enjoyed all three major stops plus the wealth of information our guide provided along the way. We highly recommend this tour and were very glad we booked this multi stop excursion instead of the single stop cave tour offered on our cruise ship.
