I enjoy a good ghost story. So was a really fun introduction to some of Barcelona's history. Our guide was really engaging and I enjoyed her storytelling. It also allowed me to get a lay of the land with my surrounds and equipped me with some more interesting facts to tell others. I recommend this experience.

The history aspect of this tour was fun, some dark stories about Barcelona that you usually wouldn’t hear on a history tour. That being said the guide was not a great story teller. She started every story with some version of ‘I don’t believe this but’ which made it a lot less fun. Also I use a cane to help with a knee injury, after asking about it (which isn’t a problem) she said that since I can walk without it I must only use it for attention and pity so people will buy me things, which, what the f*ck? The description also said there would be a ‘brain curry’ at the end, maybe this was a joke but wasn’t mentioned or included in our tour. I would not recommend this tour.

Mariah was our tour guide. She was charismatic, animated, knowledgeable. Dark stories that leave you sad but a great way to see the City and learn about it's past. This is a walking tour with stops along the way. Graciously stayed after to answer questions or make recommendations.

The tour guide never showed up. A group of us waited for over 10 minutes. Eventually we went inside the bar to ask & we were told the guide accidentally did the tour an hour too early so we missed it. But we were refunded promptly.

Had such a great time on this tour!! Joe was an incredible guide, so full of knowledge and clearly passionate about the local history. He was so much fun and so engaging.
