Such an easy way to get around the sites and learn about the history with the audio tour. There and #39;s wifi on the bus which is helpful
Traumhaftes Angebot, damit ist Barcelona leicht zu entdecken, sehr empfehlenswert!
Red route was more interesting, although the blue route gave us ideas to go back and see. Unfortunately the weather in Barcelona the day we were on the bus was terrible, which takes the edge off the trip.
Fab , so convenient as able to spend time in all sights we wanted to see, a good 12hrs day of sight seeing throughout Barcelona, Thank you,
The tour was great. My only criticism was that many of the headphone jacks didn't work. Fix that and I'd be happy to give the tour buses a 5 star rating.
The best way to see barcelona, most monuments are within reasonable reach of the station, but some are far from the station. The Green line could be added to one of the other two lines
Was a quick way to know the city. Have to do it first day so you can plan your trip better. recommended.
You booked me on two tours. One was better for the fact tht the narrarion was far more understandable than the other one.
We were not happy with the fact that we did not know we had to turn in the slip of paper from Viotar for tickets after standing in line for a while. Then the tour lines were too long for the bus. The lady in charge of the tour was very rude to us and to other passengers, and was not helpful. She told us to get off at the wrong stop for the familia, and we walked several blocks until my husband was no longer able to walk looking for it.
over crowded, drivers were not friendly, took forever spot to spot
We felt there were many places not covered on the tour; long periods with no description at all.
Good as a basic overview, but not as informative as we expected.
Could be much better...felt as though bus stops were not close enough to actual locations in many cases and that there were at times long stretches between them.
Although it covered a larger area this tour was not as scenic and exciting as the 'East/West' tour ('red route). Nonetheless, it still has some historical sites. It was a bit difficult finding a hop on stop for the 'blue' route compared to the 'blue' in a very busy Spain. The ride is long so it pays to know where exactly it is you want to go. The A/C is not cold and during the summer the upper deck is very hot and humid. Drink lots of water.
I found the tour to be somewhat of a waste of time. The attractions demand time so you spend very sorry periods on the bus. Additionally, in Spanish heat, the topless bus was impractical.
Brilliant idea. plenty of stops around the city, all clearly marked and with frequent pick-ups. The longest we had to wait for a bus was probably 2 minutes and we were always dropped off near to the sites that we wanted to see. Cheap and easy way to see Barcelona. Rate 5/5.
Place to turn in voucher for tickets was closed for construction.
Just a heads up to anyone considering the blue bus tour company - it is run by the city of Barcelona. The day we arrived city bus drivers were on strike, this included the hop-on, hop-off drivers. The place at the airport where you trade in your vouchers told us they were running at 50% but we arrived to find this was wrong. Luckily we were able to get a refund from the tourist office in Playa Catalunya and we purchased the red bus hop-on tickets instead, and we very happy with them. The next day when this line was running again we noticed HUGE line ups and people having to wait a long time to get on a bus. Our red line buses had a much shorter line and we got on the first bus at every stop.
