Fantastic tour with heaps of information and a friendly and knowledgeable guide.
Great experience! Our tour guide was awesome, I loved the Spanish village and Gothic quarter. The views were amazing, however I wish the cable car rides that provide a view of the city were longer.
The trip was wonderful and was done at a very enjoyable pace! I did not feel rushed. There is a significant amount of walking but the guide took that into account with us older particpants.
Took this tour at the end of a cruise as a general city tour to get oriented and discover Barcelona. It was just what we wanted. Travelling with spouse and 2 friends, we found it informative, enjoyable and just right! Our guide was Marta who was instantly engaging, informative obviously knew and loved Barcelona. The cable car ride was spectacular!
During the walking tour of the Gothic Quarter, Marta negotiated our way through crowed, busy areas. There was a fair/festival going on in front of the old cathedral, so Marta took the time to stop and explain certain things that were going on, e.g. a local band playing traditional Catalan music and spontaneous dancing by locals. Marta was very knowledgeable and answered questions very directly and succinctly. She moved things along. I commend her especially being able to lead the tour in the Gothic Quarter with the crowds, but making sure that we were/felt safe. We were in Barcelona the weekend of Oct 21-23 when there were lots of crowds demonstrating on behave of the Catalonian cause.
I highly recommend this tour!
This tour is chock full of great sights and interesting insights into how this picturesque city has evolved into what it is today. Guide Giavanna was exceptionally helpful in providing additional information for scrapbooks etc.
Great experience, due to the tour guide Giovanna - extremely knowledgeable. Definitely a worthwhile tour.
I had such a great time on this tour. Giovanna was so informative and knowledgeable about the city. This tour is a great way to learn a lot about the history and get familiar with Barcelona. Loved it!
this was a great trip. The only thing I would change is to allow some time at the cable car since it is located in a very beautiful park.
This tour was awesome. The guide was lovely, very knowledgeable and keep our interest with great stories about the visited sights. We did the whole city tour in a luxury coach bus that was not crowded, so almost everybody had a place near the window to admire the city while the guide described the places.
The coach bus left us on top of the Montjuic mountain where we admired the Castle the castle inside visit is not included and then we took the Montjuïc Cable Car Telefèric de Montjuic all the way down while admiring Barcelona from the gondola. Amazing view!
Took the coach bus and we stopped and visited the Olympic Stadium and surroundings.
Back in the coach bus and we stopped at the Spanish Village Poble Espanyol to discover the architecture and crafts typical of the various regions of Spain. Inside we stopped at a gift boutique store where we tasted sangria, cava wine, nougat, fresh bread with different types of olive oils. The shop is packed with gifts at very good prices, so it is a good place to buy gifts for home and friends. The Spanish Village is full with gift shops and restaurants and we got to spend more than 1 hour to enjoy the Spanish Village.
Then we returned to central Barcelona for a walk tour around the 15th-century Barcelona Cathedral and visited the Gothic Quarter and ending the tour in Las Ramblas. Had an amazing time!!!
Came from NYC and enjoyed the tour. Albert, our guide was terrific. He was super knowledgeable and picked out some of the hot spots to eat, shop and hang out. Wish I was here longer to book more tours but will def book again when I return.
Book this tour to get an overall view of Barcelona and decide what you want to explore. However, before you leave home book online tours of Gaudi's Park Guell and of the Sagrada Familia cathedral because they sell out fast or you'll wait in LONG lines for a time slot. Riding the funicular was a real treat. You learn a little of Franco's fascist dictatorship and the history of the Gothic Quarter.
Fantastic way to start a trip to Barcelona, it shows you all the highlights to visit at your own more leisurely pace. Our guide was excellent
guide was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable and flexible in making sure he accommodated your needs. We had a wonderful day and learned a lot. Thank you so much.
Great tour to do, we actually stayed close to the gothic quarter and got to know our way around here quite well. Very interesting and well worth it. I also did a night tour of the gothic area.

Our tour guide, Alberto, was fantastic. The gondola ride was fun. The highlight for my mom and I was the Spanish Village. I wish we had been able to spend more time there exploring on our own.
Great tour, enjoyed it very much. I suggest you book tours to really give you a feel of the culture, the history and what you are looking at. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about Barcelona. Great tour would highly recommend. The tour company also have so many other tours as well.
Our guide was excellent. The gothic area is so interesting. Need about 30 minutes longer at the cathedral though.
