I was excited about the prospect of visiting FIgueres and Girona. Many of my friends had recommended this tour to me. After having visited, I'm not certain that I would recommend visiting Figueres and Girona as a full-day tour. While Girona was a pretty town with all the charm of a small Spanish city, I'm not sure that it was worth missing out on some key attractions in Barcelona to see this locale. As for the Figueres and the Dali Museum, they were certainly worthwhile. I'm so glad that I visited the museum, in particular. Again, however, I don't know that I needed to see all of the sites of Figueres.

Some of my concerns may be related to the tour guide that we had showing us the sites. She didn't provide us ANY information on our drive to Figueres or Girona and, while we were there, her comments were very limited to simply identifying the places we were viewing. She offered absolutely no information about the history or cultural importance of either city or the sites we were viewing.

Overall, while I would recommend visiting the Dali Museum, I would not recommend adding Girona and I'd be really certain that the tour company that you rely on will provide knowledgeable guides who are eager to share information with you and answer your questions.

We had a great visit. Our guide, Lana, was very engaging and accommodating.
We were traveling with a small child, she made sure to pick the route in Girona that made it easier to get around with a stroller. She also made it interesting for my 10 year old.
The driver was courteous and the minibus was comfortable. Would recommend this service.

The trip I’m sure can be done well with s proper guide, but my day was horrible. Our “guide” was completely inexperienced and it felt as though she was discovering things herself for the first time and was not knowledgeable. She was unable to answer a single question given to her about facts or the past. Our walking tour consisted of us chasing “running through” Girona for about 30 min and she did not even attempt any tour in Figueres. At the museum she didn’t know she was supposed to collect the tickets with the voucher or what door we were supposed to enter through delaying us almost 20 minutes. I’m sure the tour can be lovely if given correctly. The ride was comfortable and the locations were stunning but I paid for a tour not a taxi bus ride.

I'm on the fence between 2-3 stars. The price was great compared to all the other tours that's offered for Girona. And this one included admission to Dali Museum. So I really can't say that this tour was bad.
We started at the meeting point in front of Hard Rock Cafe. There are so many tour groups that meet here. The tour guide for this tour was standing there, but she didn't announce what tour she was in charge of. She was quiet and just stood there.
The tour guide I had didn't really speak English well so I couldn't understand what she was saying about all landmarks. She also read from flashcards, so she really didn't seem that knowledgeable about the tour.
Some positives of this tour were the free time we had to explore on our own and the bottle of water. We had about 1-2 hours to explore Girona on our own which was great. We also had lunch in Girona on our own. After Girona we took a bus ride to Figueres. The Dali Museum was interesting in architecture and his jewelry art was cool. I'm not a big art enthusiast so I can't really speak much about it.
Overall, this tour seemed longgg. I think the lack of understanding of the guide made time go by so slow. A good tour guide would've made this tour be well worth it, but do keep in mind that the price of this tour was pretty decent compared to others.
