Brilliant also! I had visited La Pedrera at daylight but this night time visit was something else! Recommend warmly.
Informative and atmospheric tour. Great personable guide. Wonderful ambiance late at night and without the crowds. The Cava at the end is a nice bonus. Absolutely loved it!
The tour was informative and the light show on the roof was wonderful!. Something different -- I highly recommend.
Gaudi's architecture is amazing and seeing it highlighted at night by an amazing light show really brings it to life. This is tour that you definitely want to take if you are in Barcelona!
Unfortunately due to a very bad storm this tour had to be cancelled. I was so disappointed, it was going to be a special event for myself and daughter. we were offered another day but were leaving the next morning. An immediate refund was arranged, the staff could not have been more apologetic and helpful. We are going back soon!
This was a very nice tour. The guide was very fluent in the entire presentation. We enjoyed the whole thing.
So special that I am going to make this tour the one that I gift to my son and his partner to when they visit Barcelona. A very unique building, and a unique way of seeing it, especially with the small numbers in the group. The light show was enchanting and I could have watched it all evening. When I finally remembered to look, the views of the city from the rooftop were also beautiful. Highly recommended!!
This was great. Would definitely recommend. Guide was very informative and made the tour very worthwhile.
Fabulous tour enjoyed the history and information and the way it was presented by our lovely guide. Had wondered regarding the seven floors but lift available up and down for anyone who requires it. Light show on the roof was amazing enjoyed it very much and the glass of cava was most welcome on return to terra firma.
What can I say! Everything gaudi created is a highlight of a trip to Barcelona and this one is no exception.
A once-in-a-lifetime experience exploring the strange rooftop world of Gaudi. Highly recommended.
This is in a nice downtown area to walk to, plenty of restaurants around to have dinner before or after. The tour inside was interesting but seeing La Pedrera at night was well-worth the visit! We go up to the roof to see a fabulous light show under the stars. The beautiful music that reflected from the dance of the lights was just magical. The various color lights, some colored photograph scenes upon the various Gaudi figures bouncing off from one to the other was truly a creative and fascinating adventure to see. The tour inside is interesting enough, but to me, if we had not had the night show included with this then we would have truly missed out on a remarkable experience!!!
Great tour and light show was gorgeous, really highlighted rooftop decor and attic space was impressive with elaborate brick work. Only downside was shops were closed at night. Definitely do this.
Wow very different experience, it was unexpected. The tour guide around the the upstairs of the building was very good. And the light show was out of this world . The light shows the movement of the structures as I'm sure Gaudi did! I loved it !!
We liked this but you better be a night-owl. There was not a lot open near there after for some reason. We had to walk a few blocks to find some tapas but the place was perfect! It's in a nice area of town. Very pretty.
Absolutely beautiful! I loved it! I love Gaudi and his master pieces, and having this time at night was wonderful!
A fantastic experience and what a spectacular building. Put it high on your list for a special evening and leave plenty of time to enjoy the wonders of this space. The only disappointment was we didn't get to see the main apartment as this is not accessible on the evening tours but the light and music show on the roof space was great. Next time I will do the day tours, there has to be a next time.
This tour is a must, as the illuminated rooftop brings sensational views of Gaudi and #39;s genius. It and #39;s magical on a clear or cloudy night, and views over Barcelona are wonderful. There are 7 or so flights of stairs to reach the attic, but a lift is available. No waiting too!
I've been to this building on a day your and while it was very good, I really like the smaller group in the evening. It was great to see the building without all of the crowds. The light show was very nice, and the view of Barcelona from the roof was spectacular. Our guide was also very knowledgeable and made it an interesting evening.
The house was amazing, the tour guide knowledgeable. They take you through what inspired Gaudi to create the architecture and you understand how nature influences the mind of man to build something that is truly genius.
I have to give this 6-stars. It all started wrong. I forgot my paper voucher in the bnb, and my electronic voucher was not downloading on my phone. However, when the lady gate-keeper saw the words Viator, she knew I was not lying and she let me in just the same. Thank you so much. As for the actual tour there was too much talk in the introduction, and I don't seem to remember a loud speaker, because we were all straining to hear what the guide was saying. And because we were already exerting effort, her lengthy spiel was arduous to say the least. Then there is this whole production of going to the Penthouse. Walk 7 flight of stairs of wait of the elevator which will take only 7 people at a time. I decided to trek and got to the penthouse before the whole group was assembled. On this floor there was another loooong drawn out spiel about the structure. At this point everyone was feeling anxious or bored. We were all waiting for the light and sound show that was on the tour. I would have done a short spiel at the entrance, and concentrated on most of the information at the Penthouse. Finally when we got to the roof top, we were rewarded with the most spectacular Lights and sound show that put all anxiety to rest. It was spectacular! Now, before it started, the guide mumbled some instructions on going down. What we did not expect was that, WE WILL BE LEFT ON OUR OWN! Wrong move. It was dark, we did not know the terrain, there were steps that were not well lit, if your sense of perspective was not perfect, you can get into an accident, I dont even remember directional arrow or instructions. Then there was no way to get down but to take the stair! THERE SHOULD BE A GUIDE AND THE ELEVATORS SHOULD BE ACCESSIBLE! Please be considerate! the Biscuits and champagne at the end doesn't help either. However, the Light and Sound show is a spectacle not to be forgotten.
