Why Travelers Choose This Tour

Be among the first of the day's visitors to La Sagrada Familia with this tour.
Head to a spot near Barcelona’s La Sagrada Familia and begin your tour with an interior visit to the cathedral. The brainchild of Gaudí, La Sagrada Familia is a Gothic masterpiece with sky-piercing turrets and vaulted ceilings that frame its Latin cross aisles. Learn about its architectural highlights as you explore, and then visit the on-site museum to learn about Gaudí himself.

Later, continue to Torres Bellesguard, a lesser-known but equally lavish example of Gaudí’s flamboyant design. Set in the foothills of the Tibidabo mountain, the slate-and-stone house was built like a medieval castle, resplendent with Gaudí’s signature features from mosaics to stained-glass windows. Interestingly enough, one part of the house is still occupied by the Guilera family.

When your tour ends, head to the terrace or gardens and finish with a charcuterie-style brunch with wine in the Torres Bellesguard grounds. Read the Itinerary for more detailed brunch info.

Julia's travel was on point. First toured the La Sagrada Familia and overwhelmed by the a architecture and history from a very informative lady. Sorry I can't remember her name, but she was great. Followed by even a more intimate private tour and wine tasting with tapas that Bellesguard. We were a party of (8) family and friends, have to say it was probably the highlight of our trip.

Our guide, Angela, was very good! It was obvious that she loved the basilica and knew all the little secrets and stories that it held within its walls. Bellesguard was also a lovely stop with not too many people, and our brunch was delicious!

This was not Viator's fault. I booked the tour for a Sunday, The schedule was 1st the Sagrada Familia at 9:00 AM and then Torres Bellesguard. 2 weeks before our trip, the Bisilica started saying mass at 9:00, so our tour could not start until after the mass was complete. the tour order was switched and when we arrived at the Bisilica, it was open to the general public and was swamped. Our guide was good, but she was short and our group had trouble keeping track of her in the crowd. My suggestion, take the tour, but don't book it on a Sunday.

Seeing La Sagrada Familia was a dream come true. It was more than I had even hoped it would be. Torres Bellesguard was a pleasant surprise. Our guide Fernando made the trip very special. He was knowledgeable, passionate, and fun. Fernando made the tour interesting and because of him, it was one of our favorite places in Spain.

We were supposed to see La Familia first to avoid the crowds. But the tour was flipped with out our permission and we ended going at 12:30pm in the heat of the day with the largest crowds. We did not get what we paid for.

What an amazing day. Angelina was the best guide!. She explained all the aspects of La Sagrada Familia and the magnificent work still being done. She spoke excellent English and was so alive in her actions. Then we went to Torres Bellesguard for a wonderful tour and light lunch. It was a very special tour.

Absolutely fantastic tour!!! Highly recommend this one. We had a local tour guide take us through La Sagrada Familia - skipped the line and went straight in and she had so much history to share with us. The sheer size and beauty of the it is really breathtaking. Then we went on to Torres Bellesguard and again heard the local history on yet another one of Gaudi's buildings. Following this we were treated to some small Spanish tapas as well as tastings of some fantastic wine. All in all a fantastic 5 hour tour!

The history and detail about both sites were excellent. The enthusiasm of our guide contagious. She also gave us a better sense of what the Catalan culture is like.
