Ferraro was an excellent tour guide, very knowledge and patient! The tour was exactly what was described and exactly as I expected. Our group was very pleased with this tour and we highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting Monserrat and Sitges! You rock Ferran!
Ferran was a wonderful tour guide! Picked us up right on time from our hotel. Drove in a very safe way throu the mountain. Once we arrived he took us directly to see the Morenatta and church . The views were breathtaking. He gave us the option if we wanted to take the hike or come back down by fonicular. He was very accommodating and Sitges it’s beautiful! Loved this tour!!
This tour is an absolute must. Our guide Ferran was
extremely knowledgeable without information overload. He made both Monserrat and Sitges a highlight of our stay in Spain.
Thank you Ferran - outstanding tour, a memorable experience especially the hike down from the Monastery.
The day trip to Montserrat and Sitges from Barcelona was well worth it. Ferran, our guide and driver, patiently answered our questions, just about anything that came to mind. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive. Unfortunately, we were not able to see the Virgin of Monserrat at the basilica due to the crowds and long queue.
We took the furnicular up and walked back down the hill. The walk was lovely, with the wild flowers blooming, it was just beautiful. After doing a little shopping we headed to Sitges, a charming beach town with nice restaurants. Our lunch at one of the recommended restaurants was delicious. The walking tour of the town was informative. Ferran knows the town and its history well.
From the mountains to the beach in one day seems a lot, but Ferran made it fun and relaxing. He let us take our time to take photos and enjoy the scenery. He is a great guide. I highly recommend this trip.
What a great day trip! Ferran was very knowledgeable about all of the sites and was a great guide. Montserrat and Sitges are both truly beautiful. The only comment I will make was easy hike meant a 45min downhill hike. The hike was not hard, but it was longer than we had initially thought and it was a bit steeper. Would highly recommend this tour!
Although we travel extensively, this was our first experience with Viator and I must admit that it was the absolute best tour program weve ever experienced. Ferran, the Tour Guide, was simply outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable, displayed a genuine care for his customers, and executed a world class tour to Montserrat and Sitges. He actually got us into the upper chamber of the alter area at Montserrat to see the Black Madonna up close. Besides being a GREAT tour Guide, the entire group of us throughly enjoyed being in company with Ferran. Because of this wonderful experience, we will use Viator again in the future and strongly recommend Viator to all others.
Had an absolutely wonderful experience. There were only 3 of us on the tour so it was basically a private tour. Our guide, Ferran, was very knowledgeable of the history of the area and Spain. Timely pick up, great day. Would highly recommend it. We only had 1 day to tour before meetings, so this really made the trip.
Our tour guide was fabulous. He gave factual information about the sites without any color commentary or bias. He walked slowly so the whole group could stay together. Going after New Year's was a plus because it was not crowded at all. I would recommend the tour that includes Sitges-worth it.
