The tour of Sagrada Familia was absolutely amazing. The setting, the sunlight, the structure and history of this magnificent space is breathtaking! Our tour guide was wonderful and provided us with informative information and history and local stories as well. We had purchased tickets to the Towers too but, unfortunately the day of our tour was too windy for the Towers to be explored. This was indeed a disappointment but Viatour provided a very timely refund of for the addition of this to our previously purchased ticket which was much appreciated. Definitely pre-purchase tickets as it will save time in a long line. Sagrada Familia is a must see when in Barcelona - you won't be disappointed one bit!!

The tour was excellent with a knowledgeable and efficient young woman who knew her way around this massiv edifice. Visitors should be forewarned that even in the winter, the numbers of visitors are overwhelming and security very tight. This can cause delays that eat into your tour time. That said, our guide was excellent and got us into the basilica with a minimum of fuss.

We were thoroughly impressed with out tour of Sagrada Familia and our guide. She was well informed on the significance of the Biblical references represented by the different aspects of the sculptures and history of the different people involved in the work and ongoing plans for completion. There was good information given on the different parts of the church and we were given sufficient time on our own to wander and explore. It was a highlight of our holiday and I definitely would recommend anyone going to see this place to take a tour because there is so much detail that was given by our guide that made everything much more meaningful

Great place to visit! This Cathedral is amazing! The tour guide was wonderful, loved going to the tower but make sure you are able to go down on foot coz it's about 300 narrow steps.

Excellent tour to appreciate the beauty and background on this beautiful edifice. Would highly recommend the tour, especially in the afternoon where the setting sun makes the interior of the cathedral seem alive with color.

This is a great way to visit one of the most important monuments in Barcelona. For one thing you skip the lines which were extremely long for people not on a tour. And I saw more than a few people wanting to visit that were turned away at the ticket gate because all tickets for that day were sold out. And the information and insight you get along the way about the building really add to your depth of understanding. Maybe someday Ill go back - if it is ever finished.

We have been to the SF before...about 20 years when there was no floor nor roof. So on this trip, we were very curious to see how it had progressed. Booked the Viator tour and easily found our guides as we had been instructed though the area is hugely dense with people. The guide was excellent and the audio system we had worked quite well. We loved hearing about all of the symbolism Gaudi used in his architecture. If you were on your own with no audio or had not read up on this ahead of time, you would not know this. That was the biggest point of using the Viator guided tour. We would highly recommend this for anyone who wanted to know more about the Gaudi masterpiece than just walking away thinking it was beautiful. Fascinating is more like it.

The guided tour provided a wealth of info without being too chatty. We had time to return to the church or the museum after the tour.

This was an amazing experience. If you visit in summer, as we did in July, it was hot and dry out in the sun as we met up for our tour. Our guide was enthusiastic and really enjoyed giving us her knowledge. She was very accommodating for those who could not do the tower access, and ensured that we did not get separated. The tour was amazing, there I've said it again. The magnitude of the building, its various levels held surprises at every turn. All up, an experience that cannot be missed if you have the time.

This church is spectacular. Definitely take a tour so that you can find out the details to the church's ongoing construction.

Among other tours from several tour companies in Barcelona we booked Barcelona Highlights from Viator. It was the luckiest decision we ever made during a fifteen day trip touring three cities: Paris, Nice, Barcelona. While this 9 hour tour covered a wide range of locations, including a long trip out of the city to the Monastery in Monserrat a must see and La Sagrada Familia if you miss it you have not been in Barcelona, the highlight of the tour was Marta, the tour guide. This lady, as rich in knowledge of Spain's diverse history as she is in personality and versatility in speaking perfect English, was in incessant fountain of information and local anecdotes which kept us entertained even during long trips between locations where there was little to see out of our minivan other than countryside. Our AC minivan, masterfully driven by Ernesto, held 9 people. Written by Cal Pozo on October 10/17

It was a great tour. It was easy and we had a good guide. The visit to the tower was worth it. You can really feel that you are close to the building itself. I would highly recommend this tour!!

It is definitely worth having skip the line access when visiting La Sagrada. our tour guide was great and the very knowledgeable about the church. She gave us enough information to go back and appreciate various sites after the tour as you are not forced to exit when your tour is complete. The Tower access is a nice add-on but does not add immense value as the bridge is enclosed with protective caging. The views from the tower are spectacular if you decide to go up. Our meeting point was easy to find and the tour ran precisely on time. The guide pointed out very quirky aspects of history and answered all of our questions which made the tour very enjoyable! This is a must see for anyone visiting Barcelona and this is a great tour to do it with.

We are very happy we did this tour, and it's a great way to skip the long entrance lines. While we were originally scheduled for the first thing in the morning tour and was disappointed when we got rescheduled due to a special mass, when we walked in and saw the beautiful light streaming in from the afternoon sun we couldn't have been happier.
I highly recommend paying additional for the tower access unless you have physical restrictions. You take an elevator up and then get to take the original winding staircase down. While it is a bit treacherous and gets your heart racing, it truly is an amazing experience. Plus, the view from the top is amazing. We had 11 of us together, 3 generations including grandmother and an uncle with a fear of heights, and we all loved it!
Sagrada Familia is definitely a must do when in Barcelona!

This is a wonderful tour, and it's a great way to skip the crazy lines. We were originally booked for a morning tour but it got switched to the afternoon due to a special mass being held. . . while I was initially disappointed, when I saw the beautiful light that came in with the afternoon tour I was so glad we had gotten switched.
I HIGHLY recommend paying the additional for access to the tower unless you have physical restrictions. You take an elevator up to the Passion tower, and then get to go down the original winding staircase. While it is a bit treacherous and gets your heart racing, it is an amazing experience! Plus, the view from up there is spectacular.
A great tour, and seeing Sagrada Familia is definitely a must do when visiting Barcelona.
