Highly recommend - was a great evening with lots of delicious food and wine!!
Going to the market and learning how things really work in Barcelona for food purchasing was great. Carlos engaged everyone in the group including the 2 children who were part of the class. We learned many new things like grating tomatoes, best way to roast veggies and pallella is for veggies or fish note chorizo
We learned some good Spanish cooking skills, as well as some great recipes.
Had an amazing time doing cooking class and tour of markets. Carlos was an amazing chef, cooked some delicious food.
I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FUN INTERACTIVE CLASS - LEARNT A LOT OF INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT PORTUGUESE FOOD, ENTERTAINING FOR ALL AGE GROUPS !
Had an absolute ball for 5 hours. The chef was entertaining and got us all involved in the class. The food was tasty, the wine was flowing, the recipes were easy to follow and we didn't have to clean up. One of the most enjoyable occasions on our trip around Spain. Thoroughly recommended.

This Cooking class was mostenjoyable. We shared with some very nice people and learnt plenty about cooking local recipes. This very hands on event was followed with a delightful mealcomprising each of the dishes prepared. The tutor chef/cook was delightful.
This was a fabulous experience. Highly recommend that you also do the visit to the market before the class. Have taken similar tours in France and Italy, would rate this one as my favorite .
Entertaining and enlightening, this cooking class was one of the highlights of our trip. Chef Mario was patient, kind, and fun to be with. The dishes were delicious as well, and the wine pairings excellent. We had some very nice fellow classmates as well. definitely would recommend this to anyone who likes to cook or is a foodie.
So much fun and so delicious. Truly a feast along with a lot of work. I am glad we had it there as duplicating this would be impossible at least for me.
Asumpta was a wonderful chef, she explained well, with variations on the recipes, and all was hands-on. We had a great group and the dishes were absolutely delicious! Glad to learn new recipes that I will actually make, would highly recommend this class, but it was a little hard to locate on a side street. I think the directions should include the August Temple in helping to locate the venue.
This was the best thing we did! Don't miss the tour of the market! I felt that the people who only did the cooking class really missed out. Our darling chef/guide was great, we learned a lot!
Definitely worth doing! Our chef/teacher Asunta was wonderful -very welcoming, friendly, and encouraging as she guided us to create a meal for the group of watermelon-beet gazpacho, coca bread with roasted veg, paella, and creme de Catalan. The experience was a lot of fun and the food was delicious!

Assunta was amazing! It was not seafood paella was a little disappointed but the chicken was good! All the food was fantastic! Assunta was very friendly and fun!
Amazing experience. Highly recommended for adults and children aged from about 9 upwards. Assunta was an amazing teacher and we learnt a huge amount whilst making a delicious four course meal.
This was our first cooking class ever! We choose the lunch. It was a hands on class with all of us prepping and cooking and drinking wine. The paella and crema catalana were delicious. Everything was prepared from scratch. It is well worth the cost and the fun.
My husband and I absolutely LOVED this class! The instructor, she was such a joy! Between her and the classmates, we didnt want the class to end.
This was my first cooking class while traveling. I choose the evening dinner but it was full so opted for the lunch with market tour. Glad I did. Loved going to La Bouqueria to shop for fresh ingredients for our lunch. It was a hands on class with all 14 of us prepping and cooking and drinking wine. We had ham and sourdough bread with tomatoes and olive oil to nibble on while we cooked. For lunch we had gazpacho, bread with roasted vegetables and salt cod confit, paella and egg custard for dessert. Everything was prepared from scratch. Well worth the cost and such fun.
This was an amazing experience! My boyfriend and I met wonderful people who were also there to learn about the culture, food markets and cooking Spain style. The Chief who led the group was great! I would definitely recommend.
A must for anyone who enjoys cooking!! You get to help prepare a typical four course Spanish meal and drink some well lots of wine. We were lucky to have met a fun and enthusiastic group at the Class which just topped the experience. What more could you want!!!
Superlative - my friend and I really loved the whole market and cooking experience!! The meals and company were amazing and our chef fabulous and informative. Thank you!!
Great evening! This was a fun evening with a great instructor, Mario. We learned how to prepare 4 recipes, gazpacho, a roasted vegetable flatbread, paella and crema Catalan. The food was amazing, and it was great to actually have hands on experience preparing the recipes. I highly recommend!
