This guitar concert was amazing--up close and personal in a chapel of a city center Gothic cathedral. The sound was crisp and clear and the artist was expertly skilled. The performance started on time and ended just over an hour later--as advertised. Thank you for this offering. It was a privilege to attend.

This was the highlight of my 10 days in Barcelona. I happened to see Xavier Coll and I thought he was just wonderful. Everything and more that I would expect from a Spanish Guitar concert. He even has a beautiful signing voice and wish he would have sung more. Don't miss this. It is such a lovely venue along with great music for a very reasonable price.

Wonderful concert. Manuel is a genius - we closed our eyes and listened to the music - heaven, The setting of the church with it's wonderful acoustics and atmosphere are perfect.
On our last visit we were seated at the rear of the church and mentioned this when we collected our tickets. The young lady said she would see what she could do, and when we returned 1 hour later to take our seats we were escorted to the front row where she had reserved 2 seats for us! A must for anyone visiting Barcelona.

Excellent classical concert in a small intimate Gothic church setting. We attended a Catalan trio performance by Manuel González, Xavier Coll and Luis Robisco. Manuel González plays the traditional pieces that reminded us of Segovia. Xavier Coll is a baroque guitar specialist. Luis Robisco is a contemporary flamenco guitarist. We had the pleasure of listening to each master guitarist solo performance in addition to the trio performance. A magical night. Highly recommended.

Nice concert in a very intimate setting. Music is wonderful and pure. The venue is small and simple allowing you to get close to the music and experience it fully.

This concert was not at the Basilica. It was at the Palau de la Musica Catalana. We got the information about the cange of venue by email and by phone. Very good service. The place was wonderful!

Excellent Guitarist !But I don't like the songs he played that night. I wish he could play Carmen's Fantasies or something famous though.

The performance was brilliant, the only thing I would recommend is to place cushions on the seats.

This was one of the best and worst concerts l have ever attended. The church acoustics, the guitarist and his selections were superb. What was so badly wrong was a woman in the front row who constantly took flash photographs with her arms raised, flailing about and then proceeded to edit them, adding clouds and banners. There was absolutely no way to ignore her in what was otherwise a dark venue. I was certain that she could not be a bigger pest until she totally brushed my companion aside while we were waiting to get Senor Robisco's autograph. There is no way to legislate manners, but perhaps an announcement precluding such behavior prior to the beginning of the program might help.

The image contains four guitar players. Actually there was only one.
That's leads to a different experience than expected.
