This is an experience you won't forget. You make several stops along the way and learn the history of the ever changing border between France and Spain.
We took this tour with six friends...we LOVED ITThe village we went to in FRANCE was soooo charmingFor lunch, our guide recommend a delightful tiny restaurant where the owner cooked and served our meals....delightfuANDORA was gorgeousWe went in FEBRUARY . The Pyrenees were breathtaking. I'm sure that the other seasons would be beautiful also, but winter would be hard to beat.
Exceptional once in a life time experience to visit three amazing countries in one day. The trip through Androrra was unforgettable where it started snowing where going through the country side, mountains covered with snow, stunning scenery, and beauty everywhere you look. This was probably one of the most amazing trips that I have been on.
I loved this tour! It was such a good way to see some parts of Europe that I probably will never see again. The towns we visited were so quaint and charming. I enjoyed each stop, and I especially enjoyed the views while driving through Andorra. So beautiful! I would highly recommend this tour!
Well worth the money! The entire bus trip was beautiful, I was never bored, and the tour guide was nothing short of amazing. He kept us entertained with historical legends and jokes and was always around for questions. I'd honestly go on this trip again, it was that good.
wow, was one of our best trips. Very kind and good guide. If you go Barcelona you must do this trip.
I think that should be more time in Andorra. :
We enjoyed every minute.
This is a whole day tour. So you must dedicate one day out of your vacation. But I think it is all worth it! Come on, 3 countries in 1 day! My favorite one is the South of France. The Croque-monsieur from Ax Les Thermes, France is super super delish! Followed by Baga, Spain then Andorra. Andorra is just a shopping town with ski resorts I went in November 2018. I am glad I booked this tour. I've been booking my tours with Viators for a while now. Every time I go to Europe, I use them. I used them for Rome, Venice, and Florence too. I am always satisfied.
This is a great tour the guide knew so much and the locations were perfect and we had plenty of time to see all the places on the tour. It was a not such a great weather day but still we saw so much. Loved it!
We took this trip in mid January and booked it for a Friday. The weather was raining in Barcelona and we were hoping that as got further from Barcelona the weather would clear up. No such luck. We got to Baga and the tour went on in the rain. I will say this Sergio, our tour guide, was funny and informative and the short tour was soon over. The weather North of Baga was terrible and the road was impassible. We had to turn back and return to Barcelona. The group was given three options, take another tour, try this same tour the next day or get a full refund. We opted to try the tour on the next day and we were glad we did.
On Saturday, our tour guide was Stephen and just as god as Sergio. We got to Baga and the weather was fine, the tour of Baga was soon over and we were on our way. On the way to Ax-Les-thermes it started to snow. WE saw many cars puled off to the side of the road putting the chains on the tires. We proceeded slowly and cautiously and finally made it to Ax-les -thermes. We had a brief explanation of the town and it's history and we let loose to explore and find lunch. Walking around in the snow was fun and the town seemed to be full of skiers. We had lunch at a lovely cafe, did some window shopping and were soon on our way to Andorra.
The trip to Andorra was again slow and cautious due to the weather but we stopped along the way, got out of the bus and had a walk around in the snow. Back on the bus, we headed to the capitol city, Andorra la vella. There again was a brief explanation of the city and we then had about 90 minutes to explore the city and shop in the duty free stores. As we left Andorra, Stephen gathered all of our Passports, took them to the border office and got all of our Passports stamped for us. That was Awesome!
We traveled back to Barcelona and had a pitstop along the way for a quick drink and restroom break.
This tour was great- dress warm if you are going in winter, the weather was Cold! There is some walking involved and some stairs along the route in a couple of places.
Overall a really great day. I was traveling alone but the spirit and tone of the group was really nice, thanks in large part to Stephen, our very excellent tour guide. His wit and insight and leadership was really a great part of the day. The weather was a bit treacherous at times, but neither he nor Pedro, our excellent driver was fazed by it. The day was long but very worthwhile. It was broken up nicely with stops along the way and appropriate amount of visiting time in a few towns. We saw some stunning sites and if you have a full day to tour, this is well worth your time.
The highlights - too many to list, but the Andorra Passport Stamp is treasured! France was exceptional! Great time!
best tours. all three stops were amazing and highly recommended this tour
Wonderful trip, well organized, and at a right pace. Beautiful sights all along the mountainous drive to over 2,500 m above the sea level in the Pyrenees. Our guide was great, too.
I ended becoming ill and was not able to go on this tour, but my 21 year old son did go. He said it was amazing--a long but great day.
The tour guide was helpful to ensure he knew how to get back to our hotel since the drop off point was different than the starting point. He said the views were breathtaking although, he said the Andorra stop--1.5 hours was primarily for shopping. He would have like to have had the option to ski for 2-4 hours in Andorra vs the shopping. France was the lunch stop. He said they only had about 45 minutes, but he was able to eat.
Jose was a delight. He was funny, attentive and a wealth of knowledge. He knows his history. He took us to this amazing charcuterie shop in Borg Madame, France and recommended an outstanding restaurant in Andorra. The shopping in Andorra was great and views were breathtaking. On our return we stopped a quaint restaurant in the mountains for some Cava like champagne and it was delicious. This was a great way to experience the Catalunya region of Spain.
Laura from Explore Catalunya was a wonderful guide! She was very knowledgeable and had a very engaging personality. The tour with 13 people was about 12.5 hours long. We spent about 45 minutes in Baga, Spain. We stopped at a bakery and local coffee shop along with a walking tour of the area. It was cold outside so everyone was happy to get back on the van. We spent about 1 hour and 15 minutes in the charming French city of Ax Les Thermes where we had a walking tour and had lunch on our own. We stopped at the Andorra border where they stamped our passports. There was a small Andorra sign with their flags nearby which made a nice photo. The Pyrenees Mountains were snow-covered which made for delightful scenery. We stopped in the capital of Andorra, Andorra la Vella, for about an hour and 15 minutes. All of the time spent in the locations were just perfect. The last stop, to break up the 3.5 hour drive to Barcelona, was in a restaurant near Ponts, Spain where we had a complimentary drink of champagne, wine, beer or soft drink. The only negative was that the van's windows kept fogging up which made it difficult tat times to see the scenery and take good photos.
What an incredible day of touring! We thoroughly enjoyed the Three Countries tour. Our guide, Laura, was friendly, informative and absolutely highlight was most definitely the SNOW in Andorra and the hot thermal springs in the French town, Axthermes. It was a wonderful day.
Sergio was an amazing tour guide! He consistently kept his audience engaged with good jokes and informative facts about the locations we visited. It was a beautiful tour. My boyfriend and I are so happy we booked this - great memories that will last a lifetime!
3 countries in ONE day? OMG yaassss! It was a good escape from the busy street of BCN to get to know nearby cities, places where I will never would have known of or get to on my own.
This was one o the highlights of the trip. Be sure to dress warmly if you go in the fall because the day began high in the mountains at about 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Also, bring cash- we stopped at a market along the way.

Fab tour, complete with snow. Would have loved more time but such a nice tour.
It was nice to get out of the city and see the Pyrenees. Andorra was interesting and it was nice to have time to do some shopping I didn't know you could have so many perfume and glasses shops in one town!. I would totally do this day trip again. Oscar and Cam made a great combo as the driver/guide and the pace was good. I enjoyed hiking up to the statute of the Virgin in Ax Les Thermes as it provided a nice view of the town. The hike was short, but had a relatively big elevation gain over the short distance. Also, it didn't leave much time for lunch so I just grabbed a sandwich and ate it in the town square and watched people.
