After boarding your bus with your knowledgeable guide, your Barossa Valley day trip from Adelaide starts with the drive out of the city, following a scenic route that takes you along the Torrens River and through Torrens Gorge.

When you’ve been on the road for about an hour, make a stop at Seppeltsfield Winery, which dates back to 1851 and is home to 250 acres (100 hectares) of vineyards covered with Barossa Valley’s traditional grapes, grenache and shiraz.

We head to a multiple award-winning vineyard at Wolf Blass. Learn the art of winemaking on a guided tour and have a tutored wine tasting of their Gold Label and their Black Label wines. Wolf Blass is where you will indulge on a 2-course lunch along with an exclusive tasting preview of Penfolds wine.

Then say goodbye to the Barossa Valley as you return to your bus for the drive to Hahndorf, a quaint town in the Adelaide Hills and the oldest surviving German settlement in the country. Hop off the bus to walk around, taking in the century-old elm trees, charming cottages, shops, and tea rooms.

Your tour ends with the return drive to Adelaide, traveling through the lush hills and villages like Stirling and Bridgewater before you arrive back in the city in the evening.

Great tour
, Nov 2019
This was a great tour! The bus was nice and comfortable. The tour guide was knowledgeable but we had issues understanding him. We loved the 2nd winery the best — wolf blass. The German town was adorable. I would definitely do this tour again!
Barossa Valley Tour
, Nov 2019
We really enjoyed this tour and were really happy to have done it. Gary was a fountain of knowledge and we learned a lot about Adelaide, the Barossa and surrounding areas. Would highly recommend anyone take it.
Good tour
, Nov 2019
Knowledgeable & kind guide. Great itinerary. Tasty lunch. Super orientation to the area. The only part that was not fabulous was feeling part of a large hoard on a packed coach...but that’s just part of being a tourist on a budget. I was happy to find a company that accepted a solo tourist since many other tours required at least 2 people to book.
Barossa & Hahndorf

Very good commentary by Andrew. I saw and heard things about South Australia and Adelaide that I did not previously know.

It was very well organized. Really Nice selection of wine to taste from, and great Salmon Lunch. Relaxed and beautiful view through out the coach ride. Will recommend everyone.
A bit rushed but overall very good

Only took in two wineries (but both v. good) and were a little rushed at each but it was a good taster for a return trip under our own transport at a later date. Driver was very knowledgable and good fun.
Barossa and Hahndorf tour!
, May 2019
This tour was in my opinion excellent! Very informative guide, wine tasting expertly done. Lunch delicious and more wine tasting! Hahndorf very quaint little village, great fudge and Lolly shop, German cheese and sausages! Souvenir shops!

We had a wonderful time on our trip to the Barossa Valley and Hahndorf. Our tour guide Peter was an excellent guide, very informative and funny. Would have loved a bit more time to wonder around Hahndorf but overall it was a great day. Food for lunch was excellent.

Excellent choice of vineyards and generous portions of wines for tasting. Lunch was delicious and the chocolate tart dessert was outstanding.
