On Christmas Eve morning, depart central London by comfortable coach and journey west to the Royal Borough of Windsor. As you travel, listen as your guide shares information about the region. Hear about the history of Windsor Castle, the world’s oldest occupied castle, and how it is still used by Queen Elizabeth II as an official weekend residence.
On arrival in Windsor, pay a visit to the 1,000-year-old castle. Stroll around the lavish State Apartments and admire St. George’s Chapel, the burial place of 10 monarchs, including Henry VIII.
Afterward, enjoy a lovely 2-course lunch opposite the castle with tea or coffee included.
Once your lunch is over, follow your guide on an informative and fun walking tour of the university town of Oxford before hopping back into your vehicle for the return by coach to central London, where your tour concludes.
