A great tour! Mike was a wonderful guide: highly knowledgeable, friendly, a pleasure to spend the afternoon with. The van was comfortable, the videos played during the drive were informative, the sites were well-chosen and interesting. Would highly recommend this tour!

This is a great tour to take, and the guide was excellent. We deviated from the original plan and stopped at the American Cemetery before going to Omaha Beach so that we could experience Retreat of the two American flags and then the playing of Taps. It was very moving to be there during this ceremony.

Pointe du Hoc and Omaha Beach were amazing sites to see also. We were at Omaha Beach at low tide, just as it would have been on D-Day. It was hard to imagine how difficult it was to cross that entire open beach before trying to get up the cliffs.

Four of us booked a half-day tour so we could make a day trip from Paris. At the end we realized 4 hours is barely enough to cover Pointe de Hoc, the American Cemetery and Omaha Beach. Our guide Clive was outstanding, providing right mix of history and free time. I highly recommend this trip!

AMAZING!!!! Clive was an knowledgable guide He had a great sense of humor, but was appropriately sensitive of the experience. We loved our Half-Day Small-Group Tour. Our family of 5 made up half of the people in the tour. Such a small group allowed Clive to answer every and all questions. My son is a huge WWII buff, so we made the drive from Paris to Bayeux. My husband, who complained about the drive time on the way there, did nothing but rave all the way back to Paris. Next time we will probably take the train. The experience inspired me to write to following prayer for my 18month old daughter who was with us.
A Mother's Prayer: May you and your children always be free to run across the windswept cliffs of Normandy as you did today. Never take for granted, the sacrifice of the men who rest below your feet. The offering of their lives, created the cool green grass below that you ran upon. Never forget their great sacrifice, my little one. It was all for you.

The tour itinerary was good, especially for the relatively low cost. Our guide was what really made the trip. I had read previous reviews which complained that their guide was apathetic ours was exactly the opposite. Our guide was funny and very knowledgable about all of the sites. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in D-Day and World War Two history.

We were met by a friendly Welsh tour guide whose passion is the history of the D day beach landings and surrounds. He was very informative and loved to explain the history. It was certainly worth the money.

Lloyd did an amazing job!! Very personable and knowledgable. Presented tons of great information that truly helped understand D-Day more fully. Upon his advice we went to the visitors center at the American Cemetery and scheduled a very moving family ceremony for my dad and #39;s cousin buried in section A.
