This was such a fun tour!! Our tour guide Jerry was super friendly and helpful, plus he answered all of our questions with ease. The tour began with a guided tour through the square and forbidden city which is huge, where Jerry provided lots of insight into the history of the forbidden city. Jerry communicated with us through a wireless headset however the audio was definitely not stable and we had to reconnect a few times. This didn't detract away from the tour however its worth mentioning for future tours for this company. Then we proceeded to the Great Wall of China at Mutianyu, where we walked along the wall cardio workout, took a bunch of photos and then took a fun toboggan slide down. It was interesting to hear how the wall was built by using blasting rocks from surrounding mountains and about the wall's purpose. This tour is expensive but it is worth its price tag since you get to see two major attractions in one day.

Sunny communicated all information about pick up and time to be ready. She was a great tour guide. Answered EVERY questions anyone had and provided lots of interesting stories. This trip visited Tiananmen Square and spent several hours touring the Forbidden City. Everyone had bluetooth headphones so you could hear Sunny as there were a lot of people and groups touring the Forbidden City. Great history lesson with lots of little side stories. Then off to the Great Wall. About a 90 minute ride. As a single American traveling, it was nice to speak to other people on this trip as I hadn't had much communication with anyone since arriving in China on a business trip and this was my one day of not working. There were 3 Americans who were part of an international study group and 2 ladies from Australia. A wonderful time was had by all. Got to the Great Wall after stopping nearby for a delicious lunch. Sunny helped us order and there was SO MUCH FOOD! We had a beautiful day at the Wall. Took the chair lift up and walked the wall for about 90 minutes. Amazing views. At this point, Sunny left us to our wanderings but we had gotten plenty of historical information on the bus ride. It was a wonderful experience, and there was no shopping or stopping at tourist traps, although if you want souvenirs, there were little shops all along Even a Burger King! on the walk to the chair lift. The Alpine slide ride down the mountain at the end of the day topped it off. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone with a day to spend in see some amazing historical sites in China.

Great experience and excellent guide named Rico. The trip was seamless, all we had to do was follow Rico and listen to his narrative about each area. He also answered all questions which was a great personal touch. Lunch was awesome and everyone enjoyed it! Be prepared for the hike on the wall to include many steps and the toboggan ride down was loads of fun as well. I couldn't have expected more for the cost of the tour, money well spent!

You will not be disappointed with this tour. On-time pick-up from hotel in a comfortable van. Our tour guide, Dream, did a great job educating the small group 6 people on Tienanmen Square, the Forbidden City, and, of course, the Great Wall. We did not feel rushed at any one location, having ample opportunity to take photos and take in the sites. There had been a light rain the day we took this tour but Dream was equipped with an additional umbrella for those who need one. Tip: Make sure to wear appropriate shoes. If raining, there is standing water at Tienanmen Square and you will get your feet thoroughly wet. If cold, as it was that day for us, it is even more uncomfortable with wet shoes. There were a couple of men selling plastic booties to slide over your shoes so you may want to invest in a pair. Others wrapped plastic shopping bags around their feet.

The Forbidden City is vast so there is a lot of walking. Though crowded, it wasn't a crushing crowd. We visited the concubines' area of the City and could see into part of the living quarters. There was a small gift shop where you can purchase water and souvenirs.

From the Forbidden City, we drove to the Great Wall, stopping for lunch en route. Here we saw more Westerners than we had our entire time in China. This meant the food, though Chinese, was Westernized for the tourists.

At the Great Wall, we walked up a steep incline to get to the cable cars that would take us to the Great Wall. It was a tremendous scene from the cable car. It was surreal actually being on the Great Wall. We had an agreed-upon 1 1/2 hour to explore on our own, walking up and down the winding wall. Where you embark/disembark on the cable cars are restrooms, some Western, and a little cafe selling coffee, drinks, snacks, and souvenirs.

The small group tour makes for a more intimate discovery of these amazing and historical sites. This tour is a must-do!

This day was amazing. Not only because of the beautiful sites we visited but also because of Marjorie, who informed our small group very recommendable in stead of a larger group about everything in perfect English. Everything was well organized, the luch was more than good and I loved being on the Great Wall. Also the driver was like 'non-Chinese': safe and excellent driving. This tour I highly recommend when you are limited in time max. a day and want to see great highlights of Beijing! It is worth the money!

Me and my wife spent this wonderful day with another three fellows. Our guide met us in hotel lobby at 7:30 and took us to minivan stayed nearby. He offered to swap Great Wall and Forbidden City parts which was a great plus because we've managed to avoid traffic and were almost first on the Great Wall. Right after us several big busses with tourists arrived and when we returned back after almost two hours on Great Wall, number of tourists was already significant. Car was comfortable, our guide spoke English pretty well and told us several interesting stories from Great Wall history. When we arrived he offered us two options - Cable Car and Ski Lift up Tobogan down all was included.
Two hints here. 1 Ski Lift to Great Wall is amazing experience. 2 Tobogan is absolutely safe and keeping in mind number of ppl using it - you will unlikely be able to get full speed. At any moment you'll find somebody in front of you who will be too scared to pull accelerator and slide on the very low speed.
Then we've got very good traditional cuisine lunch and went back to city.
On Forbidden City tour we were surprised with several facts:
1 We've been given hands-free walkie-talkie, so we were able to hear our guide even if it was pretty noisy around
2 We've passed to Tiananmen Square without waiting in long queue
3 Tickets to Forbidden city he took without waiting.
So basically we've spent no extra time on waiting nevertheless it was Saturday and it was pretty crowded.
At the end of the day we've got one small, but valuable surprise. I won't spoil here - just get this tour and you will see

Conclusion: tour organization is amazing - highly recommend, guide speaking English pretty well, good lunch, GW cabin car / ski lift-tobogan, and Forbidden City are included, so you can just relax and enjoy.
The only questionable point could be amount of historical information guide has provided - it was somewhat brief, but we have nothing to compare with and, I believe, you can get it easily from internet, so I don't think it is minus.
