Meet your guide and small group of up to 15 people at Dongsi Subway Station in time for a 6pm departure. Set out to explore the maze-like hutong (alleyways) of historic Beijing, stopping along the way at up to 10 different street food stalls, shops, and local restaurants.
With your guide on hand to help translate and introduce each dish, you’ll get to taste an array of Chinese specialties, including many dishes not served at most tourist restaurants, and pick up insider tips on the best spots to eat out in the city.
Throughout the evening, taste up to 15 different dishes, including Jiangnan Style sticky rice rolls, Shandong pancake, Hangzhou dumplings, Shang'xi pork burgers, salted duck eggs, and Lanzhou stretch noodles. You’ll also get to sample local specialties including Beijing fried sausage, Beijing Yoghurt, and ‘Sugar Ears’, a popular sweet treat.
Your tour ends around 9pm in central Beijing.
