Way to explore fjord. If you want to explore Bergen walking is good. Easy to find departure. Check out fish market next door

We loved having both inside and outside spaces to enjoy the natural surrounding. Snacks were priced appropriately. Loved the blankets. It was a great time for me, a teen and a young adult.

When we got into a more natural area. Most of the trip we were looking at homes on the sides of the fjord. Also there was very little guided information.

Seeing the fjords of Bergen

We thought we were going on a sailboat from the original picture. We ate lunch at the seafood restaurant next to the pier. We could not find any proof that we were in the right place because there was no sign. When a tour boat pulled into the slip, we asked the captain and he said we were in the right place. I thought I would see a Viator representative. When I got over all of that, we loved the tour. The captain was friendly and offered us blankets and recommended going right on the top deck. We passed through a long stretch of the fjord at Bergen. It was very picturesque. It gave me the fjord experience even though these fjords are not the steep ones you see in brochures. I loved taking pictures from a different vantage point of all the beautifully colored houses near the main harbor. It was refreshing and fun.
