Fabulous and unusual trip. Excellent guide who knows all the ins-and-outs of Berlin
Had a great time -- the guide was passionate and knowledgable and went over the evolution of neighborhoods over the years. Definitely recommend!
This was a great tour to compliment a classic war monuments tour the day before. It focussed on post cold war Berlin and brought us to many new neighbourhoods we wouldn't have otherwise seen. While we saw some street art, this was not the main focus of the tour. Our guide, Callum, was originally from Scotland but had lived in Berlin for a while and was passionate about the city. My 20 year old son and I both really enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it.
Excellent tour for something different. Would high recommend it. Guide, Nicole was super.
Our guide, Nicole, was energetic, enthusiastic, informative and entertaining. You should mention that there is the additional cost of a tram ticket,7.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We felt like we saw the Berlin where Berliners live.
The tour guide was Jake and was excellent.
He does not just know the script, but also wrote the backing material and lived the life.
You will see and understand a number of things that will just pass you by if you do not go on a tour like this.
Be careful, I think he over-runs, we started at 12, finished at 5.45 at a bar and by then you will have walked a lot and learnt a lot.

Outstanding tour and tour guide. This is probably in my top 4 of all time. Amazing history, local culture and our guide was knowledgeable, fun and interesting. Highly recommended!!!!!
The tour was excellent: full of interesting facts and entertaining anecdotes about Berlin culture. Our tour guide Jake was clearly passionate about the city and his infectious enthusiasm made sure that the tour never got boring, despite being over 5 hours long. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Berlin.
My wife, 16 year old daughter and I really liked the Berlin Off-the_Beaten-Path Tour. The tour gave me a much greater appreciation for the art and the people behind the street art. Besides the art, the tour gave insight into the people and movement of people living in Berlin after 1989 when the Berlin Wall came down. It also showed how the buildings and the general living environment had changed in east and west German districts since 1945, 1963, and 1989.
A very well-run and interesting tour Jason was a brilliant guide and taught us a lot about Berlin. Highly recommended.
Great tour. Get to see a lot of the city you otherwise wouldn and #39;t.
The Guide, Imogen, was lovely and very knowledgeable. She was also very hospitable on an extremely hot day.
Our tour guide Jake was amazing. So cool and well informed. He wanted to give us the best tour ever and he exceeded our expectations. He did go a bit long but all of his stories and anecdotes were so enthralling that we didn't notice how much our feet hurt until later. Thanks Jake for a memorable day. We will certainly refer our friends to your tour.

Got to see the real Berlin. Callum provided wonderful insights into the culture and wove history into it.
If you want a good alternative to the usual walking tour give this one a try. Instead of looking at places you get to immerse yourself in two inner suburban districts, focusing on the street vibe, street art, culture and ethic mix, as well as using the U-bahn to get around. Our guide, Alex, was knowledgeable about his subject and have numerous witty stories, and some not so witty, to impart to us on our travels. As a recent resident of the Kreuzburg area he gave us the low down on the suburb, its recent history and how people power has had some positive outcomes in persuading the authorities not to do things that the residents don't want to happen.
It was very interesting getting the tour of Berlin. Much more entertaining than just walking sight-seeing to different random sites. I loved people watching in the non tourist areas. The way people used the metro, the little coffee shops, the things they carried and many more characteristics that are different from where I am from.
really interesting tour, the guide Conner was engaging, full of knowledge, and who was obviously passionate about the social and cultural history of this fantastic city. it was hours well spent and I loved it! a must do.....
We loved it. I had zero knowledge and no interest in graffiti prior to that tour, so I feel great having to learn so much about it. Jason was our guide and he did a very good job at showing us around some very interesting parts of town. Very fun guy!
Thank you Alex for the amazing tour! It was great to hear your perspective on Berlin as a local. Loved hearing all the stories behind each neighbourhood. I highly recommend this tour!
