Destroyed in World War II, it was rebuilt under the direction of David Chipperfield for the Egyptian Museum of Berlin and re-opened in 2009. The Alte Nationalgalerie (Old National Gallery) completed in 1876, also according to designs by Friedrich August Stüler, to host a collection of 19th-century art donated by banker Joachim H. W. Trip was really nice. Boat was clean and the service very good. Prices for food and drinks surprisingly low. Great view for all the sights from the upper deck. It would help is the information was more clear as to where to board the boat, this company has several places it docks for different cruises. We had to walk an added 15 minutes to get to the correct place.

An interesting trip along the river which provided the opportunity for a different view of the many attractions of Berlin. The trip turned out to be longer than posted due to the delays passing through several of the locks along the route. It was an enjoyable experience.

I have tried twice to submit a review, written a lot for both this and another one and then had to log in again and lost the reviews, so you lose a star. So, briefly, a great tour, but Viator, your directions are wrong on the voucher. This leaves from the Charlottenburg Palace mooring, not the one by Friedrichstrasse which you put on the voucher. If you go there, you miss a third of the tour. Fortunately, they allowed us to go on a later tour from that mooring. The tour is very good, relaxing, a good way to see Berlin.

Very impressed with this trip. By far the best way to see Berlin. It is a long trip of 3.5 hours that covers a great number of the city highlights and represents a great value for the money. Seating was available inside or out to accommodate weather. Staff was attentive.

The river cruise was largely a waste of time and money for us as there was only a German commentary. In addition, the only pick up point we were offered was across the city near Charlottenburg , a 1 hour train and bus trip from where we were staying, which obviously meant the same to get back at the end of the cruise. The cruise boat made several stops along the route, several of which would have been much more convenient as start and finish points. Unless you speak German, don't bother.

A very nice tour with an english-speaking narrator. Got to see many highlights. My only negative is that the tour might be a smidge too long. Would do a 2-hour tour next time.
