Our guide, Polly, was British and now lives in Berlin. The tour, organized by Brewers, was amazing. Polly was very knowledgeable about German history and was able to give us a great overview at the start of the tour. She then walked us all over the city showing us well known sights and little known local sights. We took our lunch break in the train station which was quick and had several choices. The amount of walking was perfect, by the end my feet were tired you are really walking/standing for 5 1/2hours. The time flew by with all the sights and information we experienced. The tour would be great early in a Berlin visit as you see a lot and get a good city background. Being in a small group was great for lots of questions along the way.
Sam was an excellent guide, recommended.
Our guide , Preston brought the city to life with history.
Would definitely recommend this tour.
Great walking tour, knowledgable guide who walked us around a cold and Windy City whilst keeping us interested. We saw a lot of the sights including The Wall, Check Point Charlie, the museum, Brandenburg Gate.
Thoroughly enjoyable day!
Got a lot done without being too in a hurry. Polly was so awesome!!! A number of sites one would have missed if one weren't looking! And so much of Berlin to know. This tour's highly-recommended!
Great experience! We went to places and heard stories that we could not known by ourselves. Our guide Julie definitely knows what she's talking about.
Perfect as an introduction to the capital. My guide, Campbell, was an enthusiastic storyteller. He provided important context - from Prussian State to the Nazis to the division. This 6 hour tour was very thorough and I went to most of the important attractions, leaving me time for museums the next day. The 6 hours certainly flew by. Highly recommend whether you have little time in Berlin or just want to understand more about the city's past and present.
This was the best part of my Berlin visit. Our guide, Alex was very funny and well informed on the history of the city. He took us to the main Berlin sights like the Brandenburg Gate but also to several places we would have never gone to on our own, like the oldest night club in the city. Well worth it.
It was a sound decision to do this tour on our first day in Berlin as it greatly assisted in getting our bearings so that we made the most of the rest of our stay. Our guide, Preston, was first class. His knowledge of the city and of European history was outstanding. Everything was presented with honesty and good humour. We were introduced to buildings and their history that we would never have found on our own. This six hour walking tour is a must for new visitors and great value for money.
