Great Cruise the music and the food was great my Mother enjoyed herself very much. I would like to thank Michaela Larson for doing a great job on the history of the island
Great dinner cruise that included whales breaching, good food, and excellent service.
My family cruise. That is how I felt as my mother celebrated her birthday and we celebrated our wedding anniversary. The service was excellent and the staff courteous. One of the biggest surprise was the live entertainment. Which made our cruise one that we will never forget.
Wonderful cruise with a great tour guide who imparted many wonderful tales of the history ot the Big Island. Great food and a stunning sunset! We even got to see lots of spinner and bottlenose dolphins! Highly recommend this cruise.
It was a very pleasant evening. Narrative was informative and music suited the group. I would recommend it to anyone.
This was a very nice way to relax and hear some of the History. Friendly staff , great food. All around a very nice experience. Thank you !
This was a very pleasant cruse. The live music was peaceful and pleasant and the narration of the sites was interesting and enjoyable. There was a nice variety of very tasty food on the dinner buffet and the bar was well stocked with reasonable prices for such a venue. We had an enjoyable visit with other guest on the cruse and the atmosphere was conducive to friendly conversation.
What a great time my wife and I had. Service was great very friendly and helpful. Music that was provided was outstanding. There was a person telling the history of Hawaii as we moved along the coast. Very informative: gave us other places to check out. Just an outstanding evening.
A wonderful evening with music, history, beautiful scenery and good food. The staff was very courteous and did a great job! Would highly recommend!
We took the evening cruise and it was spectacular. The sunset magnificent and we even had dolphins jumping on que as we prepared to return to the harbor. The crew on this trip were outstanding. The historian is a native Hawaiian woman who is a wonderful story teller. She has humor and knowledge, a rare mix. The food was very good and the entire evening was lovely. The staff couldn't do enough to assist the passengers. First rate and a must if you do nothing else.
Wonderful ride with narration of the area and music just adding to the experience.
Staff were wonderful. Drinks and food were top notch. Sightseeing was great, we even spotted whales!
This is a can't miss tour!
The cruise was really fun and the entertainment was great. The only downside is that the water was a little choppy and it made a few people seasick, including my fiancé.
The food and drinks were great they had a good staff. It would have been better if we did not have 5' seas. I have taken similar sunset cruise's that had calmer water. the boat was nice it had large restrooms.
Very pleasant trip, wonderful live music, great food, attentive staff. A very nice time and a different perspective on the island from the water.
Beautiful scenery and beautiful sunset. We loved the musician on board! The movement of the boat made it difficult to walk. But we saw a couple groups of dolphins which made it all worth while. Dinner was good too.
The historical information was very interesting, but also difficult to understand and follow simply because words and names were in the Hawaiian language. Live music was nice. The crew was very friendly and frequently offered to get us drinks, help carry our food to the table, etc. Cruise atmosphere was much more casual that we expected. Was thinking it'd be semi-formal with closed glass windows, table cloths, glass plates and real silverware, etc, but it was open air, most passengers were dressed super casual, paper plates, plastic ware. They served a snack wasn't crazy about the sweet cream cheese product that included fresh fruit. Dinner itself included beef, chicken and pork along with a rice mixture and some salad, all in buffet format. We did not like the chicken. It was dry and just not as flavorful as the other meat options. The only dessert available was cheese cake. There wasn't much in the way of leftovers or being able to go for a second full plate primarily meat, for those that may want to, but with the snack and drinks alcohol and non-alcohol, you won't leave hungry. When we got to the bay, we just hung out there to eat dinner. Bonus was a manta ray that we could all see. It started drizzling when we were done eating and the captain took us back towards the pier. Most passengers went downstairs. Due to the cloud cover, we really didn't see the sun set from the boat as hoped for, but we had a few other nights on the island and saw some beautiful sunsets. Overall, would recommend this activity - something not everyone gets a chance to experience. For those who might get seasick, I did see some wrist bands and Dramamine by the bar. They also had sunblock in large pump bottles.
