    Great for Diet Restrictions
    Eric_R, Oct 2022
The voyagers of the Pacific Luau was such an awesome experience! There was plenty of food and food options! With a very restricted diet it was a welcome sight to see so many gf/v/df options!

Reasonably priced luau with good food.
    Natalie_T, Aug 2022
We did a Luau at the Royal Kona Resort on the Big Island. The check in process was smooth. You get a wrist band and shown to your table. Right away, waiters came by with drinks. Non alcoholic drinks like soda, tea, guava, passion fruit is included. The buffet food was also surprisingly good. The pulled pork was especially memorable but dishes include mahi mahi, beef, pork with rice. After the meal, the show started. I was disappointed to not being able to see the ceremony with the pig. The show was good. There was only 1 fire dancer though and I thought there would be multiple fire dancers. Overall, it was a fun evening.

    End to our 1st adventure
    Marisha_S, Jul 2022
The food was great, plentiful, and taste well. They served 3 proteins with side dishes. I wish we could have had 2 choices for dessert. The location is amazing and gorgeous. The event began at 5pm, which made it hard to see the stage from the sunshine. If they built the stage with a higher back, iT would have enclosed the reflection for better sight. I wish they gave us traditional leis. The experience was amazing to end our first adventure in Hawaii.

    Wonderful evening

Great entertainment and food. Everyone should experience a Luau at least once. This was my 11 year old daughter’s favorite thing that we did in Hawaii. As a bonus we got to see the fireworks for the 4th of July right after.
    Good time

Trip was great, had a good time at the luau. Mostly sunny on all 8 days. We stayed on the Hilo side of the big Island, lots of waterfalls, gardens and beaches. Saw turtles, manta Rays and the volcanos
    On Fire!!!

This was one of the big activities are family planned for our trip. It did not disappoint. Most voted their favorite thing was the amazing fire dancer.

    Fun and beautiful experience

Wonderful performances! Yummy food. Beautiful oceanside scenery. We were impressed by the fact that food dishes were labeled gluten-free and were prepared carefully enough that my husband with Celiac disease could eat them. (He didn’t get sick!) Our only complaint is that we were seated super close together, and close to other people, without elbow room, and it was hard to see the stage from our location way at the back.
    Highly Recommend!

Derek was a great tour guide. He provided so much insight and had a ton of knowledge. It was an amazing way to see the island without having to figure out where to go, what to do. We saw so many amazing sites!
    Beautiful location, performers….low quality meal.
    Katie_M, Feb 2022
So, overall this was a very pleasant evening. The location was absolutely the best part of the Luau. Overlooking the sea, watching the sunset was amazing. The dancers, while there are only 6 of them, were talented and very enjoyable. The location was festive and the musicians were great. However, the value for this event is quite low. The food is mediocre at best. Plain white rice. Plain iceberg lettuce (not salad….just lettuce….and not even good lettuce!), undercooked and un-seasoned steamed vegetables, cold rolls, macaroni salad with so much Mayo it was inedible. All of this food was the cheapest food you could feed an army. The meats were tasty….fish, pork, and beef, all very tasty. No complaints there. Dessert was tasteless tiny square of cake topped with whipped cream. This was all served on plastic school-cafeteria type plates with plastic utensils. Drinks were gross. Very limited drink selection and the “mai tais”? Were brown. Basically orange juice and a little very dark rum, no garnish. You cannot order Virgin drinks at all. Bright red kool-aid was your option, or water, or wait in the bar line for soda. Additionally, they had only one guy bussing the tables with his bare hands…no tray to carry plates or anything. Just carrying stacks of dirty plates. Our table never got cleared, we watched the whole show with cups, trash and piled up plates. For over $500 for our family of four, I expected a nice meal. It really was not nice or fancy or anything you would expect for the price. The show was brief, and the imu ceremony totally didn’t happen (which is why we drove 45 to this Luau vs. the one at our resort.) Anyway, my kids loved it. My husband thought it was fine. I’m not typically picky, but when I spend that much money, I expect a better value. I would still attend a luau if you are in Hawaii….and if the others available aren’t seaside, I would choose this one again for that reason alone. There is so very little Polynesian culture left in Hawaii, pay what it costs to see some.

    Highly recommend this one

Most memorable for this visit was the way the staff helped with my mom. She has trouble walking and needed assistance getting down to the venue and the parking attendant summoned a security cart to transport her. He went out of his way to see to it that she was alright. Also, when we were leaving she needed help getting to the car and one of the staff got her a chair to sit in while waiting and also helped her up out the chair. The servers while the event was going on we’re very attentive. Over all an awesome staff. They know what customer service is and how to show it. All went over and beyond what needed to be done and I so appreciate it. We had a wonderful time because of it. I definitely will recommend this venue and show to others. Thank you so much for a pleasant and enjoyable time.

Great Hawaiian experience for our entire family.
    SamEMac, May 2021
So there were parts of us that though this would be corny/cheesy; however, it was not at all. The music was good to start the night and the show was very enjoyable — especially the fire show. The food was also very good with the pig being roasted on site during the day and being able to see the pit. Drinks (included with the package) were also flowing at our table. Our entire group enjoyed the show.

    Fun evening but overpriced.
    Kendra_C, Nov 2022
The food was great and the dancers/musicians were wonderful! It was supposed to be 5-8pm but they started around 5:30 and ended by 7. I don’t think it was worth the price we paid, but we did enjoy it.
    Amazing show!
    Mia_G, Nov 2022
The show was incredible! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Food was delicious. I would recommend this to a friend.
    Must see
    Svetlana_W, Nov 2022
Great food and performance! Enjoyed the music, dancing and atmosphere. Made new friends, spent great evening.
Not up to par with other luau
    Aaron_n, Nov 2022
The food experience was very sub par. One pays the price for a Hawaiian experience, this was not. The buffet style with a small hospital style plate and few items such as teriyaki beef? The tables are set up on a hill so you feel your plate and drink are going to slide away from you. Drinks are spilled often. It is very hard to see much of the show from general admission seating. The dancers were wonderful although very hard to see.
    Great family outing.
    Tammy_H, Nov 2022
The staff was AMAZING! Great experience for kids and first time or if you are a little timid. There were enough crew to focus on the amount of people we had on the boat. Lena, Maddy Conner and Conner were all four amazing. There was always someone in the water with us. It was a great overall experience for the whole family to enjoy!
    Family fun
    Mailene_B, Nov 2022
The food was delicious and the music and dancing was wonderful. We learned a lot about the Hawaiian culture and had a fun time.
