Day One: Morning Sydney City Tour and Sydney Harbour Luncheon Cruise (6 hours)
Start your half-day morning city tour with pickup from your Sydney hotel. Step on board the climate-controlled coach and begin at The Rocks, the historic district where Sydney was founded. Take an easy walk tour in The Rocks. Follow your stroll with a drive that takes past the St Mary’s Cathedral, Royal Botanic Gardens, Hyde Park, Sydney Opera House, Darling Harbour, Kings Cross and more.
Take in views overlooking Sydney Harbour when you stop at Mrs Macquarie's Chair. Then drive through exclusive districts like Double Bay and Vaucluse en route to one of Australia's top beaches, Bondi Beach. There, take 30 minutes to stroll the sand or waterfront on your own, then return to Sydney for your lunch cruise.
Your lunch cruise includes a tasty buffet spread with seasonal hot and cold dishes, fresh local seafood, fruit and dessert. Take in Sydney Harbour's top landmarks during the 2-hour cruise, which glides by Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Fort Denison and Shark Island. Your cruise takes place on a spacious catamaran with all the modern conveniences you would expect, including indoor or outdoor seating. Disembark at Circular Quay or Darling Harbour, perfectly positioned to explore more of Sydney on your own.
Day Two: Blue Mountains Day Trip (10 hours)
After hotel pickup in Sydney, enjoy a scenic 2-hour drive to Blue Mountains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Stop en route for morning tea in Leura, then follow tree-shaded Cliff Drive to Katoomba Scenic World. Ride any of Scenic World’s three attractions (own expense) or simply stroll through the lush rainforest on and elevated boardwalk. Have a restaurant lunch (own expense) while looking over the Jamison Valley and Three Sisters rock formations. After eating, drive to Echo Point for another view of these iconic Blue Mountains landmarks.
Stop at Featherdale Wildlife Park on your way back to Sydney. Have the option to hand-feed kangaroos and emus, and perhaps then take a photo with a koala (own expense). Your coach drops you off at the Parramatta River cruise dock. Board your spacious boat for a scenic cruise that returns you to either to Darling Harbour or Circular Quay.

Pick up was well organized and tours covered many areas in and around Sydney. Darrel was our guide in Sydney and Tony drove us to the Blue mountains; both were very interesting. Both boat rides in the harbor were enjoyable.
1st day City tour was good, the driver stop and let us free time on different locations. Good buffet lunch was better than I expected and enjoyed the Sydney harbor cruise. 2nd day, the driver was well informed and friendly. The blue mountains trip was not good because the bush fire. The Featherdale wildlife park tour was okay but do not have time to see all. I recommend this excursion.

1st day Sydney city tour was terrible. Our guide Darren left us at Bondi beach cos of the unclear meeting point. We heard it was under the bridge but end up he claimed that he told us to walk up and down of the bridge! What kind of meeting point is that?? We end up taking a cab to the harbour that cost us A$65 and we weren't the only family that "missed" the bus, there were 7 of us from 3 different family!!
2nd day to Blue mountain guide was Tony he is excellent provide good service and clear instructions plus he is super friendly, unlike Darren he was so arrogant!
Grey line should have more guide like Tony make customer feel welcome and not like Darren, when asked again to confirm his instructions he can reply and said didnt I told you just now??
Overall thanks to Tony he made us feel better on the 2nd day. We will still recommend to our friend but will tell them to be more alert if they meet Darren.
Good job Tony!
City tour was poor & guide was so, so. Too many languages on bus, so we could not hear the english because the language system was broke. Should of put them together away from the English.
Dat 2. Blue Mountains was great with a real leader.
The itinerary was great for all of the stops over the two days. We ran into issues on the city tour with a second tour guide talking in another language to a small group of passengers and she was loud enough that we could not hear the bus driver's narrative. The harbor lunch cruise was very nice. The Blue Mountains tour had a double-decker bus but the assigned seats we had were right across the aisle from the bathroom - terrible design. There was no way to see out the right side of the bus. Luckily there were two empty seats to the back of the lower level so we moved back there. We had signed up before some friends of ours did and they were placed in the top deck - nothing blocking the views up there. How they assign seats was very questionable.
We tought we were also gong to the opera house which was written on the plan, but the driver did not drive us there, so we got very dissappointed. The driver talked very fast with diffucult pronouncement., so we understood very little
Our guides both days were great! Very knowledgeable and so helpful. I would suggest one change to itinerary...skip stop at Echo Point (we'd already seen those views a lot). Use that extra hour at Featherdale. That would have really enhanced the visit!
I highly recommend visitors take advantage of this 2-day tour. It was very enjoyable and was everything I expected and more! Surprisingly, there were only 3 of us that were on the day tour that extended it to include the lunch harbor cruise. Take advantage of this lunch cruise. It was very good food, and you got up close views of the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbor Bridge, etc. The Blue Mountain trip was well worth spending the day there. Lots to do on all of the stops along the way. Thoroughly enjoyed both days!
Day 1 - As a 1/2 day tour this was excellent, very interesting and the inclusion of the city and harbour tour + lunch was well worth the cost. The driver was very informative and helpful.
Day 2 -The Blue Mountains were beautiful, however the day packed in too many attractions / sights, which meant you had little time at each one. This was compounded by some guests being late so further reducing the available time. Would recommend the Blue Mountains but not this full day.
My husband and I had just 2 days to spend in Sydney, and this was the best way to see the city and country. The drivers and guides were very informative. Enjoyed Blue Mountains very much as well as Featherdale animals.
