Got to try so many good things! Unfortunately many of the vendors were closed by the time we got there, but the market is huge and it was still really worth it! If I went again I would do the morning time.

Delightful exposure to new, tasteful fruits, meats and drinks! Friendly vendors who go the extra mile to please the customer. The rice and pork dish served from the cavity of a hog was incredibly good.

300 characters is not enough to give a detailed review, so here goes. Fantastic tour, Luis Saurez (tour guide) was multilingual and simply amazing. The tour guide exceeded our expectations. We left with a lifelong friend in Luis.

This was a wonderful tour and I had a grand time!! With my guide Juan Frederick and driver Jonathan, I went to the Plaza de Paloquemao to visit the market. I saw so many new and interesting fruits, vegetables, and other food. I also saw many different kinds of potatoes in all shapes and colors, each with its own I sampled many different new fruits, coffee and breads, and a special pork and rice dish at Lechoneria. We also stopped to visit a few churches on the way to the restaurant where we had a traditional chicken soup for lunch. Everything was delicious! Juan was very knowledgeable about Bogota and the foods he is a chef and a tour guide in his spare time. I highly recommend this tour.

This was so cool! Ate things I've never heard of! Saw some foods I've never seen and the largest produce market ever lol. The guide was very knowledgeable and i felt very safe. Would highly recommend this tour if your an adventurous foodie! I was alone on this tour could have been more fun with more people but it was nice to have all the attention and go at my pace.

We kind of wandered around the market that we could have done on our own. I've been on other similar tours and they were fantastic. This one was so-so. The guide was friendly, though somewhat quiet and reserved. He did speak english, which was important. We tasted some fruits and juices in the market. We then went to a coffee shop/bakery where we had coffee, hot chocolate and some food products. Following that, we went to Candelario and had some great Chicha from fresh corn. Thanks for finding this gem. The rest of the candelario tour was ok. This wasn't a bad tour, but it definitely could have been better.

Unfortunately this tour fell extremely short on anything of a food tour. Our tour guide was very nice and had a great personality but didn't take us to all the things on the description. We were picked up promptly at our hotel and went to the Market. He encouraged us to pick out fruit to try. He did not make any recommendations nor did we try anything else than about 3-4 fruits split between 5 people. There was nothing else at the market like described in the info. We then headed down to the Bakery where again recommendations were not made. He just let us order whatever. Which honestly I could do this on my own without a tour guide then. I was expecting some input and history to be explained on items. We decided to get the queso and chocolate not because of the suggestion but actually from a previous tour guide telling us its a must try in Colombia. After that we literately had NO MORE FOOD. We just walked around the city. So to our disappointment we barely tried anything! We left feeling like we didn't even have a tour at all. I did not learn anything about true Colombian food or even tasted it. There was no street food, no empanadas, no arpeas. It was lacking pretty much everything a food tour should be focused on, that is its food. However we thought our guide was nice and maybe misinformed on what was expected. and even after reaching out personally before this review the companies customer service is poor and had little acknowledgement that our tour was so poor. I would not recommend this tour. Try a different company because there is plenty of good food in Bogota.
