The driver and the guide were great, informative and friendly. It was nice to have our own guide and driver. They greeted us with snacks, water and a poncho. The car was clean and comfortable. The guide was great at taking photos of us. The trip required a lot of walking, but it was doable. The hardest part was going up the mountain due to the breathing, but it gets better as you go up and it was nice to have the guide there with us. We did go into the salt cathedral by ourselves, but there was an audio guide available. I was so happy to have booked this trip for my mother and I. The stop for lunch was pretty good and filling. The restaurant is definitely unique and homey.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. The guide and driver were very helpful in explaining what we were seeing. The only thing that would have improved our experience would have been to have an english speaking indigenous guide at the Laguna Guatavita. Our guide did a good job of translating. All in all a fun tour!

If you plan to visit Zipaquira Salt Cathedral, one of the top attractions in Colombia, this is great combined trip, which also includes the Lake Guatavita. The tour operator is very responsive, the guide Aurea and the driver Pedro assigned to us were perfect in every respect.

We had wonderful guide, Sergio! He was so informative and well mannered, and made our trip fun! The lake hike was a lot of fun, the food were we went was amazing, He always made sure we were having a good time.
