This tour is every man's dream! Two facilities with current and classic Ferrari cars and race cares. Pickup at the bus station in Bologna was right on time and the drive to museum was relatively short in a very comfortable tour bus. The museum allows you to get a bird's eye look (but don't touch) view and guides will assist with taking photos. The museum offers the chance to have your picture taken in the latest model for 25 Euro or to take a drive in a simulator (I believe 75 Euro). Along the way to the second museum we stopped at a Lambrusco winery which was somewhat interesting. I personally found the old bicycles, especially Pantini's bike and jersey, a highlight of the stop. Enzo Ferrari's museum provided insight into the man behind the machine. The restaurant in the museum was excellent. I had a lasagna plate which was perfect. Of course, both museums have a Ferrari store. Pavaroti's home was a highlight of this trip to Italy. It is not the grand "rock star Hollywood style mansion." Filled with his opera costumes and other memorabilia it was interesting and gave an excellent insight into who he used his talent to help others. If you go, walk abound the outside of the house an enjoy the iconic portrait of the great tenor painted on the side of the house.

We really enjoyed the tour of the two Ferrari museums, breathtaking cars and interesting information at both. The visit to the balsamic vinegar maker also good especially the tasting where we tasted the 25 year old product not something we would have had the opportunity to do otherwise. Pavarotti's house was also interesting. However we booked this day as we should have gone to the Lumbrusco winery as the last visit, we went on 1st May and the winery was locked up and nobody available to open up so the company sent us to the cold meat museum this was also about to close , not that it mattered to us as we are vegetarians and it was definitely not somewhere we wanted to visit! It seemed amazing to us that the tour company did not know that the winery was going to be closed on that day and it left an otherwise enjoyable day end on a disappointing note.
