This guided walking tour gets up close and personal with the alpacas, llamas, angora goats, guardian donkeys, dogs, and all the other animals that call Apple Hill Farm home. Each tour is a conversation, so feel free to ask lots of questions and get to know the tour guide and the other people on the tour.
Following the tour, grab a complimentary hot chocolate from the farm store — a unique Christmas store with plethora of gifts made from alpaca fiber: yarn, socks, scarves, blankets, teddy bears, and more. There is also an exclusive collection of locally made gifts and Christmas items.
Be sure to wear walking shoes and dress in layers. The farm is hilly, and the pathways can be muddy depending on the weather. The tour typically runs between 45 to 90 minutes, varying from group to group. Winter tours are shorter due to cold temperatures and slippery pathways.
