Great tour - Santiago is a great guide. Bora Bora is a beautiful island and you need to see it up from up high to see just how beautiful. Our guide new so much about the island and the culture. Seeing the war monument was one of the main reasons we took the tour and he got us up there. Seeing how the people lived and learning what is important to them - gardens and families! You don't want to miss this one!

Our young guides were lots of fun and took us to some roads that were rough, steep, but spectacular views. We had sparkling wine for the sunset, along with a ukele serenade by our guides. We really had to hold on going up and down hills, so a little more physical than we expected.

Prior to arrival at Bora Bora we were emailed advice that the tour would depart from Vaitape Pier at 1.00pm. We arrived in plenty of time and began looking around for where Vavau 4X4 Adventures set off from. We found such a vehicle in a car park adjacent to the pier and we were informed by a Vavau Representative present to wait back at the pier driveway.
Later, as the time was well past 1.00pm, we again went to the car park adjacent to the pier, only to find 2 Vavau 4X4 Adventures vehicles already loaded with tourists and were were told there was a double booking! After a phone call by the Vavau Representative, we were informed that the boss would come and take the 4 of us on the tour himself. We were most appreciative of the change to an air conditioned vehicle and a very friendly and informative guide Patrick, but as it turned out, we had already lost at least 30 minutes of our tour time and this was not made up as we returned to the ship early, thus loosing more tour time still!
Patrick was an excellent driver and tour guide and he tried his best to make up for our inconvenience. We travelled around the whole island and stopped at beautiful vantage points overlooking the local areas and resorts.

Both fun and informative. An excellent way to get an overview of Bora Bora. Jingo was the best guide ever! Both funny and informative and very knowledgable about his home. I would go again!

David was our tour guide and he was wonderful! He gave us the history of the Polynesian people plus he showed us many of the medicinal plants used on the island. He made the tour so much fun with his great sense of humor and I learned so much. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling

Alex was out tour guide, he's great!
He's full of energy and lots of great knowledge about the history of the island.
This off road trip was fun, we saw some great artifacts from WW 2.
We had the best photo opportunities.
When your tired if everything water, this is a highly recommended half day trip.

Alex was our tour guide and we enjoyed his wealth of knowledge. We went up three fairly steep and bumpy hills and the views were breath taking. This is such a gorgeous island and this tour really lets you see the glorious scenery and the wonderful colors in the water. The vehicle was comfortable and we were very happy with this tour.

Great sunset tour. Got a nice history of the island and finished up on the mountain top next to the WW2 cannons viewing a great sunset sipping champagne!

we enjoyed this tour very much. Djarango ? spelling was -as we would have expected from our previous experiences with Viator-absolutely professional. He had all of our group laughing and went out of his way to accommodate everyone's wishes.

Great experience to see the whole island. You go up steep hills in the tour so make sure if you are sitting in the back of the car that you hold onto your stuff and yourself. It seems dangerous but its not. Have fun and see the sights!

Alex, our guide, was amazing! We did the sunset tour and he took us to a lookout spot where we could see both sides of the island. Along the way, he stopped to show us local plant life and how it was used in the Polynesian Culture. He brought his ukulele and sang to us as the sunset went down. This was one of the most memorable parts of our honeymoon. We would recommend to anyone and everyone!

We loved our tour of the island with Kamira I think that was her name!! She was so helpful and knowledgeable and happy to answer every question we had. We learned the most about the island on this day of our trip. The look-out points she took us to were a dream. It's just amazing how gorgeous this place is in person. Even after seeing hundreds of pictures of Bora Bora, it's nothing compared to actually being there.

In addition to a number of look-out points, we saw some canons left from WWII which might have been my favorite part. These things were just gigantic! We also went through a few of the villages and stopped at a local shop that made hand-dyed cotton attire/decorations. It was a neat process to witness.

Kamira was so friendly and kind. Her spirit was contagious and we were so lucky to get her as our guide! She made our island tour so much more amazing and something we will always remember.
