After morning pickup from Vaitape Pier or your Bora Bora hotel, start your full-day combo tour with a 4WD safari in an open-sided truck, which easily scales mountain roads to several viewpoints along the way.

A professional guide takes you around the 20-mile (32-km) circumference of the island and stops at East Matira, Faanui Canon, and Amanahune Bay lookouts with postcard-perfect views, including a panorama of the sparkling Bora Bora lagoon. Learn about the military artifacts left behind by US troops after WWII, and discover volcanic rock formations from the island’s ancient caldera.

Observe the production of coconut oil and tie-dye sarongs by local artisans at a crafts workshop, and sample tropical fruits at a small plantation.

After your morning island tour, enjoy a delicious lunch (included) before transferring to your boat for the afternoon cruise portion of your tour. Settle under the sunshade or on the sundeck as your captain navigates to a calm lagoon where you can snorkel in waist-deep water with tame stingrays or simply observe them from the boat if you prefer.

After this up-close experience with the rays, you’re taken to another spot where black-tip reef sharks glide past your vessel. Follow up at a final snorkeling spot over colorful corals teeming with tropical fish. After your search for ‘Nemo’ is over, end your day trip with the return to your Bora Bora hotel.

    Bora Bora
After morning pickup from Vaitape Pier or your Bora Bora hotel, hop into your open-sided 4WD to begin your tour of the island with your friendly professional guide. Travel about 20 miles (32 km) around the island with several stops at postcard-perfect viewpoints including East Matira lookout, which overlooks a shimmering lagoon. Your 4WD then scales the mountain to reach Faanui Canon lookout where you can check out canons that were left behind by US troops when World War II ended. Stop at a small workshop in Faanui Valley to learn how craftspeople make colorful tie-dye sarongs and coconut oil. Then taste delicious tropical fruits at a small plantation before heading to Amanahune Bay lookout where you admire volcanic rock formations from the ancient caldera of Bora Bora. After a 4-hour island tour with your knowledgeable guide, take a break at your choice of restaurant where you can purchase lunch and enjoy approximately 1.5 hours on your own before your next adventure. In the early afternoon, you are transferred to the lagoon to meet your boat for your ocean excursion. Either catch some sun on deck or sit under the sunshade as your captain heads to your first stop, a calm lagoon with waist-deep water and plenty of stingrays. Using the provided snorkel gear, you can hop in the water to observe the gentle and friendly rays up-close. You may find several rays swimming around you, an amazing experience that you wont forget. Or simply observe from the boat if you prefer. After seeing the rays, head to another spot where you can see black-tip reef sharks gliding gracefully through the water near your boat. Finally, cruise over to a stunning coral garden where you have plenty of time to snorkel and soak up the beauty of the colorful corals and fish. At the end of a magical day seeing Bora Bora's natural treasures, your guide returns you to your hotel.

    Excellent Day with Great Guides!

Everything was great. The stingrays were a fun treat. Chris was a great guide and host. K was a great deckhand and assistant. Both work really well together. The tour for me was split. It’s basically 2 separate tours that they transfer you from one to another with a different guide for the afternoon, 4X4 tour. I was sad that I was the only one on the tour that day. I don’t remember the guy’s name who showed me this beautiful island but he was a blast. He’s very passionate, funny, entertaining, and a great story teller. He made me feel really welcome on his home island. I definitely recommend taking both tours. You get to see the island both by land and sea. Great if you have limited time here.

The boat ride was amazing as we saw different resorts during travel to snorkel sights. The guide Joe was observant on beginners help us if needed. The sharks were amazing. Then stingrays, then coral garden. Each was more exciting to see up close. The small secluded island was great with a sweet welcome and history from George. His wife was so sweet. The next part of our trip was Alex taking up to the highest parts of mountainous area for more history (Vaitape) . He was very kind. I am so glad we booked this trip.

    Fantastic Tour

The tour was fantastic. In the morning we had a great swim with many black-tipped sharks outside of the reef, followed by a swim with numerous rays (and some more black-tipped sharks) inside the reef. We were then taken to a reef area that had some colourful coral and many, many colourful fish. This was followed by a stop at a sandy area for some swimming. We were taken to a small island for a delicious barbecue of chicken, tuna, salad, fresh fruit, local beer and fruit punch. On this island we were able to climb to the top of the island for fantastic views of the reef, lagoon and island. In the afternoon we were taken on a covered 4x4 tour of the island including tours up very steep trails to three viewpoints with spectacular views of the reefs and lagoon. One viewpoint included WWII gun emplacements. The tour also included a visit to a tie-dye shop to witness the process and have instructions on how to tie and wear a sarong. This stop also included unlimited samples of delicious fresh papaya, coconut, banana and mango. The local guides were fantastic. We would definitely recommend the tour!!

Snorkeling and getting up close to the black tip reef sharks and sting rays are priceless! One of the best adventures I’ve ever done. The sharks and sting rays are calm and not frightening at all. Our tour guides were great, very friendly and informative about the island. The 4WD tour included many breathtaking views. Overall it was an amazing tour.

Wonderful your of Bora Bora - it's all you need

Other than the fact that we waited over 30 mins for our ride at our pick up point (as I think they forgot about us), the rest of the tour had no hiccups. We had multiple stops at view points and plantations, the views were wonderful, then 3 spots for snorkelling. The 4wd open truck, the boat and snorkelling equipment were great. The guides were fantastic. The only thing I would recommend for the tour company is to get better life jackets for the not-so-great-swimmers as the current bulky ones get in the way of snorkelling. Flippers would also be helpful to swim in the choppy waters.

The only think I was conserned about...

The only think I was conserned about were safety and comfort. The capacity of the boat is 12 passengers, but actually we have 16 passengers with no even place to sit where. They have to sit on stairs and on the nose. Overall, the lagoon cruise was great, food was good, and 4wd was also very intetesting. I would like to ask guides to speak english not only french.
