2 hours instead of 4, but Beautiful views! Not to safe.

In the tour the places that we visited ( two view points and the American gun), were really nice, worth to visit. The othet place where we stopped was-to shop something.
The car is 28 years old, wich is ok. The speed on the off road is 3-5 km/hour.
You sit in the back part of the pickup, you have to be careful not to have an injury on the very rough road. Wy wife still has a problem with her back since the adventures.
The biggest problem for us that’s, the driver/tour guide couldn’t answer a single question about the island, history, economy. He was not informative at all.
So if you want to learn about the island something, is not your adventure.
The tour was 2 hours instead of 4.

Frank was a great guide! There was eight of us in the group. We saw amazing views of Bora Bora, learned about some historical sites, and tasted delicious fruit. We enjoyed the tour.

A must do land tour in Bora Bora

It’s a fantastic experience to ride on the bumping and steep road, like riding the roller coaster. And the view is amazing, but time for photos is not long enough

Moana was an expert driver on these steep dirt roads! He took us to beautiful vistas and did a great job explaining what we were seeing. He graciously took photos of us at various stops. The local artist shop in the hills was a real treat for beautiful hand-painted and tie-dyed pareos and tshirts.
We had a little mid-understanding about our pick-up (on mainland, not at the hotel on motu as originally communicated), so we had to quickly arrange for boat transport after receiving their email hours before trip. Just be sure to confirm pickup location and time. Otherwise a fantastic trip!

A must do

If you are taking a snorkeling tour you must do a form of land tour to appreciate Bora Bora as a whole.
It is a very bumpy ride going up the hills and a bit scary as it had been raining, but somehow the rain stopped whenever we were atop the hills, and revealed beautiful views of the lagoon.

Fun, adventure ride

It was perfect after a day on the water to see the interior of the island. The safari vehicle was comfortable and we felt safe even while climbing steep mountain sides. We were able to tour a lot of the island and see the beautiful, lush growth.
Great half-day Excursion!

Due to our cruise having a medical emergency necessitating an itinerary change, I was lucky to book this excellent tour last minute. We were picked up at the tourist office at the harbor and taken on a great - exhilarating - 3 1/2 hour 4 WD jeep tour of the highlights of Bora Bora with Moana. Not for the "faint of heart" or those with back problems, we had very steep ascents to the best viewpoints on the island, with offroad driving through mud and on very narrow dirt tracks. We've never seen so many incredible shades of blue and turquoise in one body of water! Additionally we had the luck of having only 3 passengers for our tour - instead of 7 or 8. Brilliant half-day excursion. Many thanks to our wonderful driver, Moana, and Tupuna Tours!
