What You Can Expect

Saint-Emilion Full Day Self-Guided Cabriolet Tour with Wine Tasting from Bordeaux

Tablet-based multimedia guide

Make your way to your tour's departure point in downtown Bordeaux, near the La Cité du Vin wine museum. With your partner, climb into the cabriolet convertible and take off through the surrounding countryside. Your included geolocating tablet will make suggestions for stops and provide historical information as you travel through the rolling hills of Entre-Deux-Mers. Feel free to take detours whenever you like, or stick to the programmed route.

Take in views of the fortified town of Creon, La Sauve-Majeure Abbey, and the banks of the Dordogne before arriving in Saint-Emilion and its renowned vineyards, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site since 1999.

Visit one Grand Cru Classé Chateau for a tour of the operations and vineyards, as well as a tasting. If you get hungry, your multi-media tablet will be able to provide tailor-made restaurant and café suggestions.

Return your car back in Bordeaux after your 9-hour rental period.

We had an amazing time! We highly recommend going! It was so much fun. The options of doing your own thing and the guided tour make this perfect for anyone.

The cabriolet was like a dune buggy. Lots of fun! Handled well on the French country roads and was easy to park. However it was difficult for my wife to drive as the pedals did not adjust well for her height 5'4. The GPS had a few issues and had to be rebooted but the owner was able to send messages and get us back on track. It was a very fun day and I would give it 4 1/2 stars but I can't figure out how to get the 1/2 star in there
