Great city tour!
Our tour guide Louis was very knowledgeable of wine and the Bordeaux area. He was friendly and informative. He kept the pace to a very comfortable speed stopping frequently to explain what we were seeing. He provided us some very nice Bordeaux Blanc wine during the ride while we viewed the city's waterfront from across the river. Delightful!
When our bike tour ended, we were provided some additional wine and charcuterie with our guide for quiet conversation. The perfect ending to the tour.
Note: When we arrived for our tour, they initially told us the tour was being cancelled due to the possibility of strong storms. However, after we showed them on two different weather websites that the bad weather had gone south of town and we would remain dry, they did continue the tour even though there were only two guests to go with the one guide.
Great way to get your bearings in Bordeaux. Not having ridden a bike for a long time I was a little concerned about being in traffic, but I felt very comfortable, we covered a big area with ease. Only 4 of us on the tour which was good, our guide was fantastic, very passionate about his home town. The picnic of Caneles and Wine was a nice addition, as was the Wine and food at the end. Highly recommend this tour. Jenny B
Fantastic way to see Bordeaux in 3 hours! Nathan, our guide, was extremely knowledgable and passionate about Bordeaux, loved the wine pit stop! Highly recommend!
Easy riding and such a great way to explore the heritage listed laneways of Bordeaux. Wonderful guide and set us up to find out more fore ourselves as we wandered through such an enchanting city.
A very pleasant guide who's English was good. There were only 2 other French people on tour and one did not know a lot of English so the tour took time as history of sites was provided in both English and French. Would be better if only 1 language focused on and more sites visited. Cheese and salami provided afterwards and a bottle of wine given to each guest, this was a pleasant surprise. We ended up riding 48km the day after and saw so much more of Bordeaux. Rating of 4 stars due to French and English having to be spoken during tour which consumed time.
Good experience! The two guides were interested in Bordeaux and willing to allow time to explore a small organic/farm to table community and popular gathering spot across the bridge. It was good to see another side of Bordeaux and local culture. Also the guides gave us good information on the ease of taking the train to the beaches - a one hour train ride. Our bike tour was on a very hot day in the early afternoon, after the tour we went back to our Airbnb apt and booked a train ride to Arachon beach and swam until dark, had a lovely dinner and took the one hour train back into Bordeaux at 10pm. Many thanks to our two young guides for the good information on the ease of travel to local beaches!
Friendly guide, nice and interesting tour.
