This was an excellent tour. We were in Europe for 17 days and this was the best day of the trip. The biking was not too taxing. It was just right. The countryside was beautiful. The wine was wonderful and the weather was fantastic. Perfect day.

This trip meet all our expectations and more. Gwen was a very knowledgeable, fun and friendly guide who quickly established a rapport with the group. Each Château guide was also knowledgeable, approachable and made us feel very welcome. We had lunch in such a beautiful setting with a very tasty five course meal served with two different wines from the Château. The tour was well paced and allowed people to stop for photos, gelato and an end of group drink. We appreciated the small group size and the personalised manner in the way the tour was led.

We really enjoyed the bike tour, the chateaux and chais visits and the walk at the gorgeous village of St Emilion. Our guide Yan is nice and knowledgeable. Chateau Siurac is amazing and the lunch in the garden was just perfect. We learn a lot about wine and the region. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I took this tour and absolutely loved it! For an adventure to the countryside, none could be better. While we are not cyclists, we managed the nine miles well. Our guide was knowledgeable and most helpful the Chateaus beautiful. We did not know much about wine, but learned much on this most enjoyable ride through the French countryside. If you are looking for a day in the country, this is a great way to spend it. Wonderful company and guides!!

The tour was fantastic, and our guide was extremely knowledgable and fun!

The lunch was delicious and way more than I thought it would be. The wine was amazing as well, with the chateau selection showing the wide variety this area has to offer. Great tour.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this tour! We got there very early to make sure everything was in order and were greeted by extremely friendly staff who assured us that we were definitely good to go. From there, the guide handled everything very well, even all of the little mishaps along the first few minutes of the bike ride. The chateaux were gorgeous, the vineyards were amazingly beautiful with the fall colors, lunch was absolutely delicious, and the wines were very enjoyable we bought two bottles afterward. We took a stroll through the small, medieval town after all of that and then got restaurant and wine bar recommendations on the way home. All around, it was an absolutely delightful excursion and my favorite part of my 2 week trip to France. Even my husband agrees, and he can be a tough guy to please! Bordovino is the best!

Astrid was a wonderful guide, the bike ride through the vineyards and winery visits were outstanding. St Emillion is a wonderful treasure for all to enjoy. We had a fantastic lunch on a folding table in the shade overlooking the vineyard with St Emillion far in the distance. We toured to wineries, one traditional and the other large and fairly modern. A highlight of our three week vacation.

This was a fantastic tour, a great way to see the vineyards surrounding St-Emilion! My wife and I were part of a small group of casual riders of varying standards so our very professional and informative guide kept the pace at a gentle speed so that everyone was able to stay together and enjoy the great scenery!

The total distance cycled was 20 kilometres, 12 in the morning and 8 in the afternoon. It should be mentioned that there are a number of hills on this riding tour! Some of the hills are quite easy, several may require more effort to master if you're only a very occasional rider.

After a 45 minute drive from Bordeaux we cycled from St-Emilion to a local family-owned and managed Château. Here we were given a private tour of their operations then provided a fantastic lunch overlooking the vines which included several bottles of the local Château vintages.

After lunch we cycled back to St-Emilion where we were given a tour of the village. We were then transported to another nearby commercially-run winery for another tour and some wine tasting.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour which was a present from our children. We learnt a great deal about the local Chateaus as well as the history of St-Emilion and the region from our guide who really took great care of us. Highly recommended!

I was very happy with them as a company - I like their professionalism, friendliness, location, and honest company policies. This tour begins a ways outside the city, so there is about a 45 min van ride (after meeting in the city). It is a bit long when exhausted on the way home, but on the way there it was nice and we basically had a 45 min class in the car as the tour guide told us all sorts of things about wine-making and the different wine regions and classifications in France. The biking was definitely strenuous with lots of long but not excessively steep hills (the picture definitely makes it look more leisurely). But it was wonderful biking through the vineyards - the scenery was beautiful and it was the quintessential French experience. Lunch was absolutely amazing! Our guide was also amazing - extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and spoke excellent english. In fact I learned more from her tour of the first chateau than I did from the employee that showed us around the second chateau where he worked. All in all an absolutely wonderful experience! So glad I came across this tour!

Excellent trip. As the group was small (6 incl. our guide) we took minivan to St Emilion. Biked for about 25 km stopping at two Cheatueas (one family owned and one corporate). Biking was a bit challenging considering that we had to climb several steep hills so you'd better be prepared for it. Lunch which we had in the first chateau was good enough (I've enjoyed cheeses and melons which went well with the wine). Personally I liked the second Chateau (corporate owned) and the wines there better. Overall the trip was very informative and enjoyable and I would recommend it to anyone interested in both biking and wine!

Our guide Julie was extremely friendly, helpful and informative. The bikes were very good quality, and the trip was not too taxing, even for those who hadn't cycled for years. Fantastic lunch, and really educational yet fun/relaxed winery tours and tastings. Overall a highly worthwhile trip indeed !

Excellent value and so much fun. This tour is an entire day of fun times. We rode bicycles all over St. Emilion, had a gourmet lunch and learned about wine, vineyards, history etc. There are a couple of decent sized hills on the ride, but our bikes had gears, so that made it easy. The wine was fabulous and our tour guide was great. He made sure that everyone had a great time on this tour. Highly recommended.

This was the highlight of our 12 day trip. I was a bit nervous at first as my husband and I are "ride around the neighborhood" kind of bikers. It was perfect! A bit difficult in places but I was very happy to say I only walked my bike in one very steep place. It was the highest point of the ride and definitely worth the effort.
Lunch was very good and had lots of fruit, cheese, meat and pasta choices along with 3 bottles of wine and dessert. Good thing there were 9 of us.....the most difficult part of the ride was behind us and we were a happy group from this point. the winery was very informative and well worth the visit. We learned a lot about Bordeaux wines and wine in general. There were several photo ops along the way. The path was mostly paved, very safe and picturesque. Oh, and the wine was Delicious. :)

All in all, a fantastic day!

I recommend this tour to anyone in average to above average physical condition.
