The tour guide on the island had an accent and was hard to understand. More guidance was needed for things to see during our free time. The bus ride to the ferry was pleasant, and water and snacks were appreciated.

I am literally writing this review on the way home from this tour. My complaint is NOT in regard to the hotel pick up, the shuttle to and from, nor the ferry ride. All of these aspects were handles well and the bright spot... BUT... This regards the added 3 hour island tour. It was such a disappointment in many ways. Once we got off the ferry, the pickup was right there. The van was full with 10 customers and our driver Betsy. AC in van was either max or nothing as switch was broken and door rattled constantly but we can get over that as we are on the Vineyard for our first time. The narrative was our driver pointing out cows and the dump and each school and store and facts about chickens and where to buy liquor. Monotone and uninspiring, to say least. No history or context or anything as we rushed by interesting houses and lookouts at 40 mph. 15 minutes to see a lighthouse and cliffs, 45 minutes in Edgartown, which easily needed atleast 90, then back to Oak Bluff and out! It was not an enjoyable experience. Yes, if you want to drive down the interior roads and look at driveways at 40mph, do so. If you want to hear nothing about Marthas Vineyard in a stuffy van and literally see nothing worth the price you paid for this award winning tour, please do so. Do yourself a favor and book with someone else. I just wish someone had written an honest review like this before I booked. Very disappointed for our one and only trip to Marthas Vineyard.

The weather was perfect for a short visit to Martha's Vineyard. We were impressed with our tour guide, Tom, who lives there. This was a great way to get a taste of the island.

Picked up at a hotel close by, the tour provides snacks and water, plenty of restroom breaks. Nice driver and interaction with visitors. A good value, take the additional tour, very interesting and good use of time. Still free time left for shopping and lunch. Eat lobsterling there, better value than in Boston.

Tim, our tour guide was fantastic !!! Martha’s Vineyard, however was not. Martha’s Vineyard was underwhelming at best. The tour company was great, but I would not visit MV again or recommend it.

The driver/tour guide, Jeff is great. He had just about the right amount of information while driving from Boston to Falmouth. My daughter and I were the first to get picked up at one of the hotel pick-ups from her apartment. .At 6am pick-up, Jeff was on time and courteous. The cold bottled water and blue berry/chocolate chip muffins in the morning to the ferry terminal and cold bottled water and bags of chips on the way back from the ferry at the end of the day was a really nice touch.

From pickup to drop off, everything went smooth. Paid for the extra 3 hour tour on the island and felt was beneficial to seeing areas beyond the pier where the ferry drops you off. Could be a little slow at times but convenient. Guides were informative and loved to answer questions.

It is an easy way to see most of the island in one day. Two negs: one would be that would have preferred more time in Edgartown over Oak Bluffs. Cuter shops and galkeries over the cheap shops they offer tourists. 2nd piint would be that they say 10% off dining at places that overlook the water. We went to Lookout Tavern and apparently that was not included. I think they need to be specific. Otherwise tge toyr was pretty well organized.

Our bus driver was wonderful, picked us up at our hotel early, had water and snacks for us, he was very accommodating. The ferry ride was very nice, no other way we would have wanted to take a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard!

I got a good feeling about New England Trips as soon as I bought my ticket. The gentleman who connected with me to confirm my pickup location and time was very personable. I was picked up for the tour right on time, and there was plenty of space in the van, so I could spread out a little . They provided water and snacks, and we also had a rest stop on the way. The driver was very nice and did some narration on the way, as well as explaining about the tour . We each got a little envelope with our name on it and Steve (the owner's) number on it in case we got lost or took the wrong ferry or something.I opted to take the three hour tour of the island, and was glad I did. The driver, a year-round resident of Martha's Vineyard, was very knowledgeable and informative. We had enough time to get out and walk around at the two stops, then when the tour was over, I had about two hours to explore Oak Bluffs. I thought that was just about right.I actually live in Boston, and decided to take this day trip rather than figure everything out for myself, and I think it was much more relaxing that way.I plan to take more New England Trips!
