Our guide, Janet’s enthusiasm and knowledge of Boston and Boston’s marvelous history made the tour worthwhile. The cannoli and pizza in the North End were great as was the visit to North Church. Loved getting to shop at the Salumeria. However the afternoon was somewhat tiring due to only one break.

Jim was an excellent tour guide! We were able to see a lot of Boston’s history in one day with delicious food and drinks along the way. You could tell our guide really loves Boston and is excited to share the joy of the city with anyone who wants to join in. This tour gives the perfect overview of all the city has to offer. I recommend taking the tour early in the trip when you have a couple more days to continue the fun and dive deeper into the parts that capture your interest most. Also great for a short stay when you want to fit a lot into one day.

Our guide, Sully, was wonderful. A Boston native, he was full of stories and city history and really made the past come to life. The food stops were great as well. The pace was not at all rushed and the 5 hours flew by. We highly recommend this tour!

Overall, a great intro to Boston

This tour was well worth it. Our guide helped pass the time with great stories, insider tips, and history. The food stops were pretty good. We stopped for cannoli, a sandwich, pizza, then a pint. The pub was our least favorite because it wasn’t historic or particularly charming. Just a sports bar on the route. The historic stops along the freedom trail were great for us since we had never been to Boston. We wouldn’t have discovered hardly any of them in the short time we had in the city. We tipped our guide (sully)$15 per person since it was five hours and seemed reasonable. The small group size was also an important factor in our happiness w this tour.

Our tour guide, Janet, was amazing. We loved the fresh bread, pizza, and coffee! The number of participants was just right (I think there were 4 other couples). We would highly recommend this tour to our friends.
