Traveler Tips

With a relatively large group you need to keep aware about moving around among regular Bostonians.
A bit long winded and could be improved by less talking and more walking on the trail

This was an amazing way to get some history of the freedom trail. Our guide was knowledgeable, entertaining and professional. If you want a good time and some back history of Boston, take this tour!
Very nice walking tour!

Loved all the history and information! We unfortunately had a very very hot day and a very big tour group. We tried to stay in the shade, so harder to hear at times.
Not worth the money or time
Judy_C, Aug 2022
Guide did not follow Freedom Trail but kept to side streets and shade for her own comfort, did not dress in costume, ended tour 30 minutes early and told us if we wanted to see the rest the Freedom Trail we could follow it ourselves. This was a rip off. We’ve been touring for two weeks and this was the low point of our trip.
Awesome tour

So educational! Loved it and would definitely recommend. Our tour guide was funny and so engaging. He found a way to keep everyone engaged.
Excellent way to spend a few hours in Boston!

Our tour guide Jeffrey was excellent. I have taken this tour several times with my school’s fifth grade classes. Because your guides take on different personas ( Jeffrey was a common laborer on the docks), you get a different perspective of that time. So interesting! The hour and a half is just long enough. Bravo!!

Enjoyed getting history of our great country and the great people who made it possible. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job! She made Mother Goose a real person!
Devil in the Details
Baylee_P, Aug 2022
The most memorable parts to me were hearing the inside details behind the people and the stories. I knew some of them but more of the details made the stories come to life.
Fun and informative!

Tour was quite interesting; guide was an arragant blowhard who detracted from the expereince. Thin skinned when spoken to but hauty when speaking to others. In his mind, it was a tour de force for him not the freedom trail. Also group was far too big.
History with family!!

I took my 2 nine year old girls. Our guide interacted with the crowd, and it was enjoyable for all of us.
Good Walk
Theresa_R, Jul 2022
It was informative, but a bit boring. In all fairness it could be that I’m not such a historian and the looong talks at each stop was a little more than I needed.
Great tour
Rob_H, Jul 2022
The Cemetery and the history behind those buried there was very interesting. The story behind Sam Adams was the most interesting
Amazing tour guide!
Chad_H, Jul 2022
Jeremiah Poope was amazing! We have teenagers who often think history tours are “boring.” He brought history to life with entertaining stories and an interactive presentation. We left with the passion to learn more!
