Really great evening watching bears and we saw plenty. Excellent English speaking guide who was really helpful and friendly.
We were driven to and from our villa and treated splendidly by everyone.
Definitely do this trip if you like nature.
Great trip but, remember you have to stay very quiet for two hours. Not for small children.

Great host, brindusa. Picked us up from hotel. Good intro on the wildlife. Short journey to the lodge where after an hour we saw a family of boar and 3 Beas who came to feed individually one after each other. Saw a large bird of prey but couldn't figure out what it was.

Well worth the experience

A brilliant and well-organised trip. We saw lots of bears, so we are predictably inclined to rate it highly, but the best event we did in Romania.

This was a great tour if you want to spend an evening in a beautiful forest with a good chance of seeing some bears! Our guide was very friendly and informative, it's only a short journey out of Brasov and then a nice walk through the forsest to the hide. It was very hot so we had to wait a little while for the Bears to appear but in the end we saw 3, one of which was a cub. We had a great evening.

We saw 6 different bears while feeding, including 2 cubs. This was a fun and safe activity, despite watching the bears from a quite close distance. If you want really close-up pictures, take a tele lens for your camera 300 mm. The ranger was knowledgeable, and the driver, Dan Negoescu, was great, too!

Even traveling with 2 children under 8, we had a great time. The guide was very gracious in picking us up, his English was excellent. Despite rain, we were able to see 5 bears and if the kids weren't going crazy in the look-out, we would have gladly stayed longer. The kids did enjoy the walk through the forest on the way back. I strongly recommend this tour for families with children 10 and older or if you bring your little ones, bring a coloring book or mobile device so they can keep busy while you enjoy the view. I highly recommend this tour.
