The tour is good if you have limited time and want to know these 2 beautiful cities. The trip is well organized regarding the times. Nevertheless, don't expect much about the explanations of the landmarks, history of the cities, recommendations, etc.
This tour, without a doubt, covers some of the prettiest and most interesting spots of Belgium outside Brussels. The tour guide is friendly and provide detailed information.Be aware, however, this trip has a lot of walking. It is NOT designed for seniors or folks with walking difficulties. In this full-day trip, we were walking for 1 full hour, non-stop, for about 3 - 4 times. I was travelling with my family and my elderly parents, and needless to say, it created a bit of physical stress for both of them. We also travelled during the Christmas holidays, so be prepare for slippery grounds, uncomfortable winter boots, and lots of people!
We were very happy that we booked this tour. Both Ghent and Bruges were awesome. Our guide spoke perfect English. He was very informative, entertaining and helpful. It is a full day trip, returning at 7PM, (19:00). We did have some free time at the end in both towns but there is so much to see. The tour involves a lot of walking, 11,000 steps on a Fitbit. We highly recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in European history and wants to see UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Both towns are nice and we really enjoyed it a lot. The tour guide is friendly and explaining a lot of history and showing us a lot of insight of the town.. a lot of walking though but worth it.We were lost on the last 2 hours of the Tour, thank god the guide has already explained where we meet if we lost, so we managed to catch up w the bus to go back Brussels safely! This tour is worth a visit, especially Bruges, personally likes it more.:)
