After pickup from your central Brussels hotel in a luxurious, private minivan, relax during the scenic 2-hour journey south to Luxembourg, a small land-locked country with a rich historical heritage. Discuss your itinerary with your guide along the way and customize plans according to your interests.
Stop first at Luxembourg, the self-titled capital of the quaint country; disembark to stroll the upper part of the city, a place replete with stately architecture and enticing restaurants. Wander the bustling Place de Armes and capture fabulous photographs outside the impressive Notre-Dame Cathedral. Admire the Renaissance splendor of the Palace of the Grand Dukes then continue to the lower city to see the ancient fortification of the historical center.
Absorb the riverside charm of the River Alzette and gaze at the monumental Wenceslas Wall, a prominent 15th-century fortification used as a defense mechanism since its origin. Revitalize with a fulfilling lunch in the UNESO-listed historical heart then enjoy some leisurely free time to explore independently and soak up the antique charm.
Sated, reconvene with your guide and reboard the minivan for the journey to Bastogne, a Belgian town home to a moving memorial. Pay your respects to the American soldiers that died in WWII at the Mardasson Memorial and hear of the turbulent and bloody war that took millions of lives.
Enjoy some free time in the city center before returning to your luxurious minivan and relaxing during the journey back to your Brussels hotel.

Had a great day!!!! Our tour guide was wonderful. Lots of information and really enjoyed it all.

This tour is amazing and absolutely worth the expense. We did it on April 31, 2017. All the flowers were in bloom, especially in the square. Jean/Sean was wonderful and exceptionally accommodating. Five Stars. He was punctual and an excellent careful driver in his luxurious and comfortable Mercedes Van. Luxembourg is fantastic and should not be missed. Jean is knowledgable and will share and fill in what you do not already know. Bastogne is pure history and should be seen along with the 3rd Army cemetery and includes Patton's grave and a memorial. Do not miss this tour! Amazing! Highly recommended -- My wife is still in Europe with the pictures, so must send only these that includes some from The Netherlands.

Excellent opportunity with a very knowledgeable guide to learn about the history of Luxembourg and the WWII battle of the bulge.

, Oct 2015

Our guide arrived on time with a comfortable van for our group of 5. He was knowledgeable about Belgium and Luxembourg and was able to answer almost all our questions. He was able to show us the highlights of Luxembourg City and Bastogne on the way back. He offered us different possibilities of how to spend out time. Our only complaint if it can even be called that, is that we did not really like where he suggested we have lunch in Luxembourg City - there were a lot of choices and the one he suggested was just a little ordinary.

Don't go to visit on a monday as all places are closed and its a long drive . Went to a top notch restaurant and because we were tourists got horrible service and they ignored us . Glad to leave and would never go back

Another exceptional tour with our driver Jean. It was a long day but well worth it and we were very glad we went the private route.

A great day but very long. The driver/guide arrived on time in a very new, clean and very comfortable mini bus. Was informative and interesting and tailored the tour to address my daughter's particular interests. Never any pressure to hurry up. Highly recommended.

Originally we had planned to self tour the Normandie beachfront. Glad we did'nt. Our tour guide Jean Francois was a local who lived on the coast. He knew every back farm road along the Normandy Beach front. Made the most of our time, arranged for lunch and was very knowledgeable. Excellent.

Quite pricey but it was well worth it because by having a private tour guide, you can stop and visit other places. Jean Wynns was very knowledgeable and amazingly nice! The Casemates are very interesting and looking at the city from different levels was so pretty.
