Escape the urban bustle of Bucharest for the day to discover the legends and treasures of Transylvania. Wander through the Gothic chambers and turrets of Bran Castle, nicknamed ‘Dracula’s Castle’ thanks to its spooky atmosphere and ties to Vlad the Impaler, and then feel like you’ve stepped into a fairy tale on a tour of splendid Peles Castle, the former royal residence of Romanian kings. Finally, explore one of Transylvania’s most well-preserved medieval villages on a walking tour of Brasov.

We were really excited by the visit to Transylvania, and it was great! Our guide Paul was very knowledgeable and knew how to get us around. Peles Palace was very surprising - richly decorated and beautiful! The day had a lot of driving (which was the only downside - busy weekend traffic and construction). Bran castle is worth visiting, and we enjoyed the Romanian-style meal and stroll through Brasov.. Highly recommended.
Enjoyed seeing Peles and Bran Castles as well as the city of Brasov. However it was a long trip over poor roads to get there but worth it. Expecting our tour guide to take us through the castles and tell us about them but that didn't happen. At Peles Castle he attached our small group to a large English speaking tour. At Bran castle he left us on our own to wander through the castle. So our guide was really just a taxi driver. Would have preferred him to provide a guided tour through the castles.
Well worth doing this day tour. Razvan was a great guide sharing wealth of information and very good at what he does. 3 stops on the tour were wonderful :). Expect long delays due to construction on the way Back :(
Travel to beautiful Transilvania, visiting the beautiful Peles Castle, the charming city of Brashov and the long-awaited Dracula (Vlad) Castle.
Friendly and competent guide, knowledgeable of the history and geography of Romania. Comfortable vehicle with the advantage of being only 8 passengers which allowed to ask questions and talk about Romania.
Negative point: the intense traffic, with road under construction, so more time than road to visit and the fact that they do not enjoy the mystique and charm of Dracula's figure
Paul was an excellent tour guide and driver. He had a lot of useful and fun info about all the places we visited. My highlights were the Peles Castle and driving through beautiful, snow-covered Transylvania.
One of the best and most entertaining tours we have ever taken. The Transylvania region of Romania is quite amazing, but it was our driver/guide, Bogdan, who made it even better. Bogdan is very mellow and kindhearted, providing great insights into Romania as a country. The day is busy with a lot of driving, but Peles and Bran castles are worth visiting, and having a stroll through Brasov is also a great thing to do. Overall, we would definitely recommend this tour if you want to have a great day visiting awesome sites.
