A pleasant taste of Bucharest on a cold day in December. Tour guide Roberto was friendly and witty and the tour itself a good mix of history, culture and current affairs. Bucharest has a lot more to offer than I had expected.
The half day tour in Bucharest covers a lot of ground and history and is definitely worth the time and money. Our guide, Mary, and the driver were wonderful. Her English was fantastic and she was very patient with us. We visited the Parliament, the Village Museum, and the city centre, as well as drove all over seeing many more buildings of importance. I loved all of the sights that we saw as well as all of the information about Romania and its history that she told us. We saw so much in four hours that I would not have been able to see or get to on my own, but it left us with the rest of the day to explore on our own as well.
Unfortunately it rained on us the entire morning.

Guide, Daniel was great, i think we saw much more than the tour actually called. He was very knowledgeable about all areas of the old town
Guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and positive. Focused on main sites but also gave details of history and related to her own family. This added an extra dimension that made experience special. Only change suggested is to take water in car as extremely hot!
Very knowledgeable guide. Adapted slightly to the needs of one tourist without disruption in any way. We were very impressed by Marie, our guide's knowledge and sensitivity. When asked a question about Jewish prisoners she accessed two other information sources to get the correct answer to a subject very personal to one in our group. Interesting tour.
A great tour with Daniel, our guide. He was very knowledgeable and a great photographer: Since we didn't spend a lot of time at the Village Museum, he took us to Chaucescu's house - fantastic sight and not to be missed if you like that history and a peek inside a dictator's life. The only thing he forgot to show is are the ruins of the Princely court in the center of Bucharest. Too bad, but our last guide mentioned it so we managed to see it.
This tour was really good. Rodica was a fantastic tour guide. We saw and learnt so much about Bucharest and Romania that you cannot do if you go it alone. If you want to find the real Bucharest take this tour.

Fascinating tour. The guide Roberto was interesting and informative. Learned so much about Bucharest and Romania. The Village museum is a must see.
A good tour if you want an idea about Bucharest and don't have much time and don't want to walk too much. The village museum was very interesting and the guide knew lots about Bucharest and was friendly and fun.
Roberto did a good job showing us around Bucharest. I really liked seeing the Village Museum.

best half day our was .. we loved it and the tour guide was amazing. Roberto was such a nice guy and full of information and easy personality to talk to.
Good overview of the Bucharest highlights and history with highly competent and very nice guide. We especially found the Village museum interesting and bought several items from local craftsmen. The guide adjusted the tour to our wishes and the local vendor of the tour, Mr. Tripp, is very professional.
We had Mike for our half-day tour of Bucharest. He was the best! He had answers to anything we asked about, had a great sense of humor, and gave us choices along the way, somewhat tailoring the tour to what we wanted to do and see. Mike is the best! Ask for him!
Nice tour of the housing museum, the palace of parliment and Old town. Roberto was an informative guide. 4.5 stars
I would give 5 stars but 4 because Peasant village was closed. For the rest very interesting tour about the cultural part of Romania, the group is small so you can gather more information from the lady that leads the group and have a nice a smooth walk around without pressure.
Alin was very thorough, he did a fantastic job as a guide. He was very knowledgable and his English was superb! I only gave it a 4 star because the time spent at the Village Museum was a bit long, but that was just me, the others in the group seemed to enjoy the time. I also appreciated the small group -there were only 5 of us.
Included very nice visit to village built out of homes from various historical regions of Romania. Other than that an average tour.
The guide Robert was very friendly and knowledgeable! Saw main attractions in a air conditioned car and walked through the Village Museum. The tour was great and the girl at Mr. Tripp agency was very helpful and friendly. They picked us up on time from the hotel. Would recommend it!
Tour hit alot of the hot spots with in the city center to include a tour of the village museum which showed houses and equipment used from as early as the 14th century. Pick up from hotel was awesome!
