A must have if you are in this city for less than 3 days or so ... covers all major attractions along with the boat rise on Danube ...
Loved the bus tour and boat tour. Great that you can hop on and off when you wish. I booked it online, but to be honest it would have been better to just book when you get to Budapest. You can buy tickets all over the city, no problem.
This tour was great and all the personnel were especially helpful and clear. You can see everything so well
brilliant tour. Lots of very useful information and can use it for 48hrs and hop on and off anytime! We visited almost every place and if we had time would have used it the 2nd day too but unfortunately it was the day we were travelling back home.
The bus was comfortable, the commentary was great and the staff were very helpful. A great way to see the city so that you can decide where you want to spend your time seeing the places that most interest you

I like Hop-on Hop off Tours. This is a fun way to see the city. The boat ride and lunch on the river was wonderful. The stops were well planned out for our two day adventure. Just a warning there are three Hop-on Hop off Tours in operation make sure you get the right one. The red pictured bus on the website is not the one you get a ticket for.

Hop On never disappoints. Great way to see the highlights of a city and then return to the sites that interest you.
This tour was great value as it was current for 2 days and it also included a boat trip. Only wish we had been in Budapest longer as couldn't utilise the next day's portion of ticket. I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Budapest.
Very useful way of seeing the city with good background information.
Excellent routes. Frequent buses. Detailed historical information in my own language using headphones. Worth every penny.
Very good value for money and a great way to see the city. The Inclusion of the Danube river cruise made it even better
We made very good use of the Hop on Hop Off buses while we were in Budapest. We felt that the commentary was well done and the buses kept to their scheduled times. We were able to walk to and from our B and B in the vicinity of Adam Clark Square where it was a very convenient bus stop for us. Once we sorted out which bus line was ours, as there are several different companies operating the same types of tours, we were just fine. The sales staff at the various stops all spoke very good English so we had no problems communicating.
Excellent tour. Very obliging staff, especially tour guide Mark. Buses were almost pretty much to time.We took full advantage of the tours on both days, plus the river cruise and the evening Santa tour. The experience gave us an insight into the various areas of Budapest which we then explored on our own the day after our Hop on Hop off finished.
Amazing value as the second day is free! Very easy to pick up the tour at lots of different locations and never long to wait. Being able to use the ticket for the boat at night was really unexpected and an experience to remember. No need to pay for a sepaerate night cruise meant value was amazing.
Bus worked out great for us to get all over the city and upwards onto the mountain side to see the castle area.
Well worth the money- it rained both days we were on the tour- so it was a GREAT way to see the city... and stay relatively dry! The staff were very helpful in answering our questions. If you book the tour- make SURE you print BOTH pages of the voucher! We didn't and had to get off at an office to have our voucher validated and then printed.
