This tour was amazing!
You can't come to Budapest without visiting!
best Budapest experience
Very good ! If you have time - go and enjoy bathing !
Really recomend this if you are in Budapest! make sure you arrive on time as we were about 20 mins and they kindly moved out appointment. Staff were really friendly and made us feel at ease.
Massage was excellent.
Great end to a long holiday. On arrival we were allocated a cabin but just one between the two of us when we asked we were then given a second giving you my changing a lot easier as they are quite small. Went out to the polls beautiful really warm and., On arrival we were not given a map sobwe didn't realise all the other thermal pools were inside the building. We had booked a massage and this was wonderful, and when they took us through to the massage rooms we saw all the pools. So after our massage we spent the afternoon switching from pool to pool and sauna to steam room. You can hire towels but they only take Budapest currency however the snack bars take euros so you can change your money there if you need to. We did askmfor a map but unfortunately they had run out of the English version, so it would be good to get one when you book the visit through Viator that you can print off before you go. We would definitely do this again if we ever went back to Budapest
Well worth the price. Only had a problem finding our cabin after the baths.
We managed to be in Budapest on a wonderfully warm and beautiful day for swimming. The Szechnenyi Spa building itself is spectacular. Its like pulling up to a palace. The check-in procedure was very smooth and the girls at the front desk were smiling and helpful. We opted for a private cabin dressing room. It was a little small but was very secure and I felt absolutely no concern for the safety of my valuables. The attendants were efficient, if not brimming over with joy, but they answered my questions with efficiency and forthrightness. The pools are lovely and exactly as advertised. We used two of the outdoor pools but not the third. If you want to use the lap pool you need to wear a bathing cap, even the men. So we spent the day between the other two outdoor pools and the many indoor venues. There are a dozen or so indoor smaller pools with varying temperatures. Steam, sauna, cold pool, etc. Very nice indeed. But the highlight of the trip was the VIP Massage. Karl, my masseur, was fantastic! The man had magic hands and by the end of the 70 minutes I was floating. In the midst of a very active trip this was a terrific way to get back to a semblance of normalcy. I highly recommend it.
This is a must visit spa that is busy even in the winter! My pictures show guys playing chess in -4 degrees airside! See the ice on the other photo
