Great tour! Thanks to our guide Levaijozsef. I reccomend it to everyone willing to see the basic attractions in Budapest in one tour.
The walking tour was great and gives you a very good overview of the scenic spots in Budapest. The optional Danube River cruise was also fantastic. I was booked with the Legenda Cruise and I opted for the 5:30pm cruise which was really good as the boat during this time was not crowded. You have enough room to walk around the boat during the cruise. The optional stop at the Margaret Island was also a welcomed surprise. Highly recommended.
My guide gave me an excellent overview of the city and helped me understand some of the history of the city. His knowledge of the architecture was also enlightening.
This tour was great. A cab picked us up promptly and took us to a central meeting point. We waited for a short while for everyone and all the buses to arrive. We were then split up based up which tour we were taking. Our guide was great, very helpful in explaining things giving us some free time to explore on our own. Nice to have the small bus to drive us around to the Buda part and the Pest part. Awesome sight seeing. After the tour was over we had to make our own way to the pier for the boat cruise. It wasn't too far but it was far enough that we had to run and walk quickly because we only had about 5 minutes before the boat left. Also, i the morning they took our tour vouchers so when we got to the boat we didn't have anything to give them. I tried to tell them what we had done earlier in the morning giving them all the tour names I could think of and between 4 people and all my explanations we finally figured out that were supposed to be on this tour. Other than this little hiccup, the tour was great. Awesome to see the city from the water!
Punctual.good speefy tour of city and surroundings with an excellent knowledgable local guide ..Clara.
Boat trip was on an excellent well kept safe and clean vessel. Large panaromic winfows afford perfect vizibilty. Excellent commentary
Highly recommendee as a Must when first visiting Budapest.david J
Our tour guide, Voltar, was fantastic. He was very generous packing the tour with information and good humour. The quality of interaction was surely helped by the fact that there were only 2 passengers on the tour. The only negative was the lack of communication between viator and the tour operators beforeh
4 hour tour took us all around the city. Guide was knowledgeable and good. I was only disappointed that we seemed to see several things only from the outside Mathias Church, St. Stephen's Church etc. Should have had a few more stops to get down and see.
Budapest is a breathtaking city, well technically two cities - Buda and Pest. And the guided tour gives you a lot of interesting information that you wouldn't get otherwise. Our guide was very sincere and gave our group enough time to take in the surroundings. He even gave us extra time to do streetside shopping!
The bus tour and walking tour on Gellert Hill was good. The views from the Citadel and Fisherman's Bastion are wonderful. Elizabeth was a knowledgeable guide.
Tour was good. Beware if you book the optional river cruise. The bus does not drop you off at the cruise area. I had to run from the city center to where the boat was and almost missed it by a couple minutes. I think the logistics of this tour could be better.
Great way to get to know the city, though limited in reach. The hop-on/off busses allow more flexibility for people wanting to see more of what the city has to offer
Knowledgeable staff and very friendly.
This tour was very enjoyable and informative. Our tour guide was very good in spoken English, would definitely recommend.
The city tour was OK, covering most of the main tourist sites. It didn't include stops at the Parliament or St Stephen's Church, which was disappointing. The guide tended to ramble on a bit. Danube cruise was enjoyable.
There were about 7 of us in the group, a small enough group which was nice. We all wanted the English tour to understand the history better. However, it was difficult understanding the tourist guide. The bus got there late and we were dropped off before the 4 hours were up. At any rate, I finished the tour not really getting a better understanding about Budapest and her history. Big disappointment.
The tour was ok and the guide definitely knowledgeable but even so, there was too much time spent in the mini bus and not enough time seeing things. The only real time to explore was near Heroes Square and even then was only 20 minutes.
It's so disappointing our trip not done the viator people not contect us not pick us ,, I don't know this viator side is true or fake lets see they will return my money or not, and what happened with my next trip.
