Great value

The walking tour was good with the on off bus. It’s great to get to all the tourist spots and know you can get a bus to tge next spot

AmirIzham_Y, Aug 2022
The bus was quite clean and the timing for every stops was almost good. Whilst the upper deck is for those who want an open air journey, the lower deck should be airconditioned. It would help those who want comfortable journey especially during the summer heat.
Great experience
Galina_P, Jul 2022
Informative, easy to reach the main attraction, the River cruise was a nice bonus. We took the one at 20:00, that way it started in sun light and finished at evening.

Great bus taking you round all the key places. Great for getting around. Free boat tour, with great commentary.
Use Big Bus or get a Budapest ticket.
Erichardman, Mar 2020
Staff rude and uninterested in you. The buses were full and you are not always able to hear commentary. The English translation is awful and usually out of sync with location. Unless you are on top of bus you see very little. So if you ignore this warning ensure you take trips on a sunny day. Worst tours ever encountered.
Hop on/of is rubbish
Rob P, Dec 2019
Drivers take too many passengers in with each stop, so many end up standing. The effect is that most people cannnot see much of the view. Also the stops at different areas is too far away from the point of interest and no explanation given where one has to go. Thirdly the sound system is terrible and basically impossible to understand
Budapest visit

Staff was not very friendly. Wifi didn't always work. Staff didn't take their time to answer my questions.
very happy with our prepaid Viator 72 hour hop/off city sightseeing ticket.

absolutely no problems with our prepaid ticket ,great value would highly recommend Viator and will use them in the future.
I love Budapest
Al_G, Oct 2018
Several similar looking buses stop at the same point, so it can be confusing as to which route you are supposed to get on. Traffic was very heavy, so the commentary on the narration was a bit choppy. Other than that it was a fantastic tour and a great overview for someone who has never been…

The only way to do Buda and Pest. Your ticket is valid for 2 days and along with all the stops it includes a 1 hour boat ride on the Danube with great water views of the Parliament and other historic structures. Some must do stops are Heroes square, Great central market and the New York cafe located in the Bulgari hotel.

VictoriaD_T, Oct 2017
Rude rude young women on Hop and Go buses who sell the tickets. The worst was a young women on Sept 2, 1017 on bus with license plate of PEL-909 at 12:35 p.m at Stop 10 refused to tell customers the number of each stop - we were standing, unable to hear or see because of rain - her microphone was not working - people were asking over and over for the number of the stop - and she just sat in her seat texting and listening to music - saying that her microphone didn't work. People were shouting from the back of the bus begging to be told the stop. Yet she refused. She was the worst - but others were also rude and unhelpful. They should not be hired if they hate their jobs and take it out on tourists who count on them. It gives people a bad impression of Budapest. I have never experience such rudeness and utter disregard for people asking for help.

A person would needs 2 days at least to do this tour. If you only have a few hours the breaks and changing buses takes up too much of your time. Late in the day you might be a long way from where you need to be at your starting point bus will let you on board or give you information. More logistical organization would help the travelers.

Good value for money, especially when boat ride and bikes are included in price. Just prepare to wait for busses that are infrequent.

Good hop on hop off bus tour - a great way to see the main sights and attractions of Budapest, so you can decide which ones to spend more time at later. We did the red route, which was longer and more comprehensive. Audio commentary through the supplied earphones was good and available in lots of languages!. The only slight negative was that the bus stopped quite a few times for 10 or so minutes each time, which made the round trip take rather longer than it needed to. The boat ride was great - a leisurely journey up and back down the river, with informative commentary through the loudspeakers. Although advertised as one hour, actually we got close on 90 minutes on the boat, which was a nice bonus!

We enjoyed this tour, staff helpful, unfortunately traffic was slow due to special event. Would have appreciated more commentary and less music. Still worth doing!

Robert D, Jun 2017
The tour gave little information and the initial first loop in the AM took 3.5 hours to complete. I think this was partially due to our driver taking 4 stops of 20 minutes each. The other 2 competitors passed our bus numerous times. When we were waiting after hopping off the other 2 came every 10 to 15 minutes while City was a solid 30 minute wait. When I go back, I will use the competitors.
